What happened ?
Many hundreds of orders (maybe thousands) cancelled on eBay, with no communication, because they're too cheap to honour discounts. Heaps of stock for those products in-store, where they source eBay stock from.
Big w has the strangest store policy. They won’t fulfil online orders unless they have a certain amount of stock on the shelf.
A couple of years ago I got 2 dvd sets for the kids. They only gave me 1. I went in store and they had 5 of the other set on the shelf. They said yeah we can’t fill the order unless there are more than 6 left.
They don’t want to sell the items?? They would rather wait and see if someone comes in to purchase it than have the item sold online.
All of my LEGO sets that I bought from the deal that I posted and along many other OzBargainers were cancelled. Here was their response in the end:

I was going to do some shopping on ali but I heard zero covid policy and 30k new cases a day have ground some cities to a halt which means you're kind of playing roulette with whether or not they can send your stuff out.
AliExpress does not honor refunds. Avoid them.
Can you pls elaborate. I've had orders go past time frames refunded. But it seems like delays are getting worse.
Yeah I've had no issues getting refunds when things haven't turned up within the timeframe.

customer supp has gotten worse because in the past you can get your items automatically refunded through evabot (their AI chatbot), now you have to talk to an agent or something and people are reporting that it's harder and harder to get them now
+1. it used to be easy for non-arrivals (especially when the tracking clearly shows it stuck somewhere for months), but now they sometimes require "official proof" from the post office declaring that the item is not delivered.

Any chance cashrewards will do an upsized cashback this weekend for aliexpress?? I missed the last 20%.
I can't add items to my Big W cart when using the app. However can add items when not using cashback app. Any ideas @gotyourback?
Has this ended? I can't see the $5 cashback deal or even the 20% its only showing the regular 2.25%
Honestly wouldn't go near BIG W after this week's charade.
