        It is an un-powered USB 3.0 x4 & it can only handle only so much.
        I think it was written in the notes that came with the hub,
        or you could always duck duck go 'limits to un-powered USB3.0 hub with 4 ports'
        I only stick some USB sticks in mine, but I ordered a powered one from Kogan.
        It is a USB 3.0 with 7 ports & it is powered, I got mine for $24.09 with free shipping:-

            @shagaroo: I doubt it.
            If you really want to inject power, you will only cause fireworks until a fuse blows.
            Just buy a powered USB hub
