  • Dumb question but this isn't like Gamepass where you can play/stream all the games is it?

    • Only stuff that you already own on Epic, Steam, Ubi and GOG generally

    • You have to own the games you want to play

    • Geforce Now essentially give you remote access to a gaming computer in the cloud. You use your own accounts (for e.g. steam), and own game purchases to then play the games which get streamed to you.

    • Not a dumb question.

For me I would prefer Game Pass for its convenience.
However, when I’ve tried GeForce Now’s beta program in the past, I discovered that you could basically play any games you own, so I was able to stream games from my Steam library as well as independent ones like League of Legends.

Maybe others have a better idea of its advantage/performance compare to Xbox Cloud

      • Yup, for $5 and no working GFX card might try it out. I found gamepass had alot of quantity but not quality (apart from the big games)

Wait what? game pass has a ton of quality games, big and small.

          Pentiment
          Monkey Island
          A Plague Tale Requiem
          Vampire Survivors
          Forza Horizon 5
Ori and the Will of the Wisp
          Grounded
          Slay The Spire
          Psychonauts 2
          Persona 3, 4, 5
          Unboxing
          Tunic
          Death's Door

          and tons more

    • I haven't used gamepass, but Geforce now it lets you control a virtual gaming pc in the cloud where you log into your epic, steam etc and then play most of your games you own in the cloud and in the case of priority, I believe it includes RTX support (raytracing)

I use the free version on a 50/20 connection. Mild lag but you can still use it. No way it's worth $21 a month to get priority queue.

  • First nvidia rip people off by price jacking gpu's, withholding stock to keep prices inflated, new gpu series with yet another overpriced product and now they wanna charge to play your own game too!?? Ahhhh yeah nah

Hmm…just started using it and it is pretty damn good.

Make sure you do it on a wired connection tho otherwise drop in quality and quite a bit of artificating.

Biggest disappointment, not all games show up on the GFN due to mong publishers pulling their titles. F u activision, rockstar and others.

Played shadow of the tomb raider and no lag whatsover, was basically 95% the same experience as playing locally. 1 or 2 instances of frame drop/stuttering over 1 hour of play but basically nothing to get concerned about.

My connection is good tho, 100/40 with 2ms latency (FTTP).

Great for $5 per month, would not spend full price on this tho.
