  • Is this all time low? I am thinking of pulling the trigger either today or should I wait till cyber monday?

    • +1

It's been lower, around 250 with cashback

    • You can get this cheaper. Total 240

What i will do is contact jbhi fi to do a price match for myer @$399.20 currently.

Go to Coles and buy $400 worth of the giftcards @15% off so you pay $340

      But airfryer with gift cards.

      Claim $100 gift back.
So in the end you spend $340 -100 = $240 for the air fryer.

      • Thanks! Will try to do it tomorrow.

      • You can get it for about the same price at Bing Lee later today via their code and chashrewards. Don't need to go through the giftcards and price matching hassle.

I've 3 philips xxl air fryers that are still going just as good as when i first bought them 8-9years ago. They are the simple turn dial time and temp sets. I dunno why they have to go digital now, as it's just one more thing that can go wrong. Same as cars these days….. we don't need all this fancy tech crap…. we don't need smarter cars, we need smarter drivers!
But that aside, it truly is apples and oranges compared to other fryers. You won't be disappointed

I've only got one of the cheaper smaller Philips airfryers, which has a dial. I wish it had digital temperature setting. The dial always seems more like an approximation of what the temperature is going to be. Is it 180 degrees? Or really only 170… Who knows.

      • +1

Over time it may move an extra couple of mm's due to wear & tear. Most settings, digital or not, hit the desired temp and then switch off again until it's time to switch back on to heat back up to temp again. Temps go up & down all the time regardless. Ovens, fridges, microwaves, all the same. Another example is a bbq. Ya gotta keep adjusting so you don't burn the meat

      • Having had a digital air fryer and then moving to the Phillips dial system was really hard. I struggled to get the right time and temp going with the dial. its just an approximation and frankly i usually have to just come and turn it off myself than trying to set the exact time i want it to switch off.

Thanks OP. Finally pulled the pin on this one after humming and harring for over 12mths. Crossing fingers the $100 cashback goes through without a hitch.

The $100 cash back has exclusions including purchasing from EBAY in accordance to the terms and conditions. Rumour has it this will drop to $199 on cyber Monday.

      • Damn I bought it from Bing eBay as that’s what was linked. I’ll see if it’s possible to cancel my order. Thanks for your help.

        • +1

I’m quite certain people have claimed from Bing Lee eBay in previous deals. They email you a proper invoice too. There’s nothing in the T&Cs about eBay being excluded, not sure where they got that info from.

          • +3

@Chickenleg: I searched the entire T&C and it doesnt mention the word Ebay anywhere - and when you go to the form - Bing Lee and branch Online - appears a valid option.

            • @Meridianz: I couldn’t find anything either. Guess I’ll find out for sure when I try to and lodge it lol

        • +1

I bought mine from eBay via Appliances Online and the afterpay code. I just used the AO invoice that came with it and cashback came through a few days later. I.e. use the Bing Lee invoice and I'm confident it will be fine.

      • +1

where in the T&Cs does it say ebay is excluded?

  • When I try to add the coupon code - it says it cant be applied to this order? Anyone else having trouble?

    • do you have ebay plus?

      • It was something to with my account. It says you have to be Aus resident but when i created my ebay account like 20 years ago or something I was not then - even thou i updated all the addresses, it still wouldnt accept it - I created a new account from scratch based on my AU address and it worked.

  • What's the cooking surface made from on these? Non-stick? There's pictures with a stainless still grill, does it come with that?

  • Sold out it would seem
