Yes, this has popped up again but thanks to the Aussie dollar not as good as it was around Christmas time but I still consider it a reasonable bargain when compared to how much these still cost at local retailers. I just did a mock purchase and managed to get right through to the end so postage shouldn't be a problem… just remember that you'll need to buy an adaptor or have the plug changed by an electrician to use them here in Australia.

As a side note I purchased two of these just after Christmas thanks to an OzBargain deal and love them. I recently purchased an ALDI Expressi machine & Frother to use at work and although pretty darn good I've gotta say the Nespresso machines & pods definitely have the edge but of course you pay more for them.

Can't recommend this device more. Just a shame the dollar isn't as good as it was.

I see this item in amazon UK - :
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3D…

    A$224 (DELIVERED)

    • Oooh, even better! That a further saving of $17.57 to spend on Nespresso capsules :) Nice work Jteerapol, thanks for the heads up.

      • Better yet, get refillable capsules from ebay and put your own coffee in it.

  • Awesome, I too grabbed it at Christmas and it proved to be amazing value, highly recommend it!
Been waiting for it to pop again for a family member so thanks op!

  • Does Krups have service centre in Australia?

And leaving the frother and form factor aside, is Citiz better than Pixie ?

    • I've used a Pixie unit and I didn't find it any better or worse but I personally like the sleeker look of the Citiz. I did find the Pixie to be a lot quieter and that's the only critisism of the Citiz… it can sound a bit rattly when extracting but I'd say that's also becasue there's lot more metal in its construction. The Pixie (& even the Aldi Expressi unit) are very plasticy but quieter.

    • If you look up the old deal I believe it was said they do have a service centre and do provide worldwide warranty. Look it up to be sure.

  • Has anyone had trouble proceeding to checkout after entering an australian shipping address?

    • Nope, not on the Italian site as I tested it earlier (as per the deal submission above). Maybe the UK site wont let you?

    • Hi,

the UK site promotion is over I think. The price jumps up from 145 to 207 now.

Not sure how many ozbargainers got that price.

      • Yep, just tested the Italian site as per the original link up top and it still works. Price is about $2 more now so the exchange rate must've changed.
