Amazon AU Free Delivery over $39 No Longer Working

The last few amazon orders I've put through haven't applied the free shipping correctly and I've had to get amazon staff to fix the shipping cost after the fact.
It says my order qualifies for free shipping before I click to checkout.

Has this been happening to anyone else?

Ok, so there's been some scepticism, which is fair enough.

Ok, so here's an item that should have free shipping if you add 2x to the cart:
Fist of the North Star Vol 1 - Amazon AU

Can some other people try adding it to their carts and seeing what happens?
Not sure if this is a system wide issue.

    are the items shipped by Amazon Au or a different store?

    Even if it qualifies for free shipping, you have to manually change the shipping option to the free shipping option.
    It's automatically selected on express/expedited which is something like $4.99 or $5.99.

    It's always been like this.

      There is only one option available for shipping. I used to get the other options. This has only started happening this month.

        Now that you mention it. I was going to place an order the other day and there was no free shipping option.

        I ended up buying a month of prime and take advantage of a welcome bonus of $10 which I forgot to apply…

    Yeah it happens randomly and gets fixed pronto. Just contact support.

      Yeah, I did that the first time and they fixed it straight away.
      The second time around, they said they'll fix the delivery charge, but only after delivery which is annoying.
