I work in hospitality, this is industry standard for preserving wines and its great.
This allows you to essentially open multiple bottles of wine and it keeps the quality for months!It is an expensive tool though, but i personally have a lot of wine so i like to sample a lot without having to drink a whole bottle :)
Isn't the base model way cheaper and does the same job?
Yeah definitely cheaper, but this one is the bargain ;)
Fine for cork, but not sold on their solution for stelvin/screw caps.
Can’t say I share your enthusiasm over this type of device tbh..
In fact, I’m quite happy with my pump action wine cap that removes the air.
Sure… if I bought wine that was worth 100s of dollars a bottle…..but

It does a good job of preserving the wine for future serving but comes with difficulties which are: 1) The pour is very,very slow and takes a very long time to pour a 5 ounce glass. 2) A you-tube video states that youu should get about 15 wine bottles out of 1 argon gas cannister but I'm getting only about 2 bottles. Per the cost of the argon cannister, this makes for a very expensive system. This is is mainly due to the excessive slow pour causing you to constantly press the lever to activate the gas. 3) The aerator is so tiny that the holes easily clog up and are very difficult to clean.
