Gotta love it how the colour alters the price.

  • I got "Coupon code "GS330OFF" is not valid." for both 16Gb and 32GB white.

    • Sorry code is "GSIII30OFF"

Kogan has them for $629 - limit of 1 per customer.

    not sure on postage.

Kogan only offer 1 Year warranty, Make sure its AU Stock and Price Inc GST

      • sorry, $609, now, and they offer extended warranty options for 3 + 5 years. 3 years = $119 extra, 5 years = $159 extra. if i was getting a phone like the S3, id prob go the 3 year warranty, but thats just me. but then also being me, i would wait tille the galaxy note 2 comes out and compare the two and by then the price would be even less on the S3

        • I would have thought people who are interested in getting the S3 now is the type that upgrades the phone every 1 to 2 years, so why bother with a 3-year warranty? Letting alone paying for the extended warranty?

What's the bet you will still be reading reviews of Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note18 in 10 years time while continue waiting for a decent deal?

        • a) we upgrade but the phone often stays in the family. Even after 2 years they are usually still quite good.
          b) better resale value?

      • The extended warranty option is good however the problem is that it is unknown if you can trust whatever repair service they are using.
Anyway I'm pretty sure you could purchase extended warranty for your phone no matter where purchased.

Kogan has a 12 month warranty only, and I am pretty sure it's import stock, so not covered by Samsung here. I'd spend the extra $40 for the proper Manufacturer warranty of 2 years and Aus stock.

      (Beaten by 10secs! LOL)

    • +4

It'll be $19 postage (presumably) but that's overseas stock and Kogan…

    • +1

      Grey import does not count.

This is great price for local stock with 2 year warranty.

I'm on a vodafone plan so I got vodafone branded,
i've flashed it and running on omega rom so I don't have any vodafone branding, startup + apps on my phone

pretty easy to do and if your going to flash it anyway save yourself extra $30 and get the vodafone branded one

im assuming there is no physical branding as mine doesnt have it and its from vodafone

  • Where can I pick this up from? My postcode is 3025

    • Parramatta. NSW.

      • So in other words everyone is better off going to DSE unless you are in parramatta?

        • not really, DSE is aud747 whereas Mobileciti is aus699+13.80p/h = aud712.80, still cheaper with postage unless you have the WISH gift or staff cards.

Just make sure you guys realise it's not the same company as http://www.mobicity.com.au - Really similar name and logo, not sure if it's just coincidence or not.

  • If anyone wants it a bit cheaper.

    http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/p_400903_Samsung_i9300_Gala…

$638.90 Shipped (1 Year Australia Warranty, covered by ShoppingSquare) - Direct Import

    Kogan: $629.00 + $19 P/H - Also a Direct Import 1 YR Kogan Warranty.

I know this don't compete warranty wise, and the wait time from Australian stock to Import Stock. But just a bit cheaper :)

I personally wouldn't trust my repairs to SS or Kogan if something went wrong. Who knows where they send it off to, and for how long. At least with Aus stock and Samsung factory warranty you can take it to any Samsung authorised repair centre you like.

      • Well do not buy from Dick Smiths Eletronics (DSE) as I sent a phone off for repairs thru them over a month now. No contact, not even an indication of how long its going to take. After this experience I don't trust DSE anymore.

  • its amazing how much it has dropped in price, i bought the blue oz stock aus769 not even 2 weeks ago :(

    • +1

Yea, I'm going to hold out for a few more weeks to take advantage of these wonderful price drops.

    • i bought my gn around 7 mo ago for $700…. now its $400 thats price drop of $2 a day lol

  • Hey rep, how about free delivery for us in VIC?

    • -1

Sorry, this deal can't offer free delivery.

      • No worries. I will be heading off to Coles then when I get my discounted gift cards to buy this at the same price. Didn't wanted to wait a week for it so thought I would just ask and take my chances :)

        • +1

Thanks for give us this opportunity! I will always try hard to come up with best deal.

  • OP, can you respond to my to ticket number: SVA-93731 on your website

    • Hi mis1980

  • Hello, I just wanted to know how the Vodafone branded one is different to the unbranded one? No physical difference (ie logo print), just carrier apps right? Man I don't know whether to buy this now, or wait a few weeks for it to possibly hit $600

    • No phsycial differnet, only the software/apps
You will get price protection from us if price lower than $650 by end of this month for same product.

      • Okay, nice, thanks

      • how does price protection work? Have to be aus stock? Can be sold online only?

      • +2

Wait. What? Price protection? This might tempt me. Could you please explain how this works? If I see the phone advertised for less than $650 in this month, you would refund us the difference? Does it need to be advertised by you or any retailer/website?

        • +1

We will refund you the difference if phone advertised by any AU retailer(inc website) for less than $650, must be AU stock and phsycially instock.

        • +1

Wow. That's great. Thanks for informing this. Let me make up my mind now.

  • +2

Get it & enjoy it now!! Great ph

  • is the 2yrs for all Samsung Australian phones? I have only ever seen MobileCiti advertise this 2yr thing? Or is the 2yr warranty a new thing for the S3?

    • 100% 2 Years Warranty. Only the Australian stock come with 2 Years.

  • I got my Galaxy s3 16gig white for $624 unlocked Australian stock with 2 year warranty from Vodafone.

Scared to take it out of the box as i'm not sure I want it haha

    • Great price.. how'd you get that? Link? Special promotion? Loyal customer?
