Thanks OP - was able to price match with JB Hifi via online chat.

  • do i get or do i get. thanks for sharing op1

  • Great find!

  • Great price. Not in stock online for me though :'(

  • +1

JB isn't matching anymore, due to "limited" stock :(

Probably try again and get a different person. I just put through an order for 2

        • +1

Probably you should change your job. People like you working in service are the worst.

          • -3

@[Deactivated]: Lol probably the most ignorant comment I've ever seen.

            • @JoeBogan: You are Joe Bogan, what do you expect? ;-)

          • @[Deactivated]: People repeatedly calling the same store in a hope to get a different staff member. I'd love to see how you'd deal with.

            • -4

@youfnc: The stores earn money with "people". That's how I would deal with that.
Some stores are even ripping off "people" with so many things. So what's your deal?

          • +1

@[Deactivated]: honestly. majority of the times its the customers themselves that are the issue.

        • +2

          How am I the worst?

        • +2

To be honest, without your price match policy, I wouldn’t bother buying anything from JB Hifi. It is cheaper everywhere else.
The people you call the worst are your customers and they still bring in revenue and more jobs at jb hifi. Hope you see things differently

  • Any idea how much this would cost to buy the "internals" of the calendar?

    • Apparently there is a limited pikachu card inside going for $20, theres 6 normal boosters so $30 plus everything else.

      • -1

Any ideas about the value development of these calendars in 5-10 years?

        • +9

          $0

        • +1

Very low.. the "limited edition" cards in these are just reprints of basic/common cards with a snowflake emblem slapped onto them. A good comparison was the Halloween "Trick or trade" cards, and they barely go for anything substantial ($5-10 each depending on the card) and those cards are not guaranteed, where as these ones are, which makes their inherent value lower.

        • If you get it, might as well open it. Limited Cards are worth more single than in packs.

  • doh, just unpacked our pre-order. Not that we could have returned it. This price point is insane and perhaps closer to the value of everything inside.

    • Are you saying $50 is the Value of what's inside?

      • +2

        at best at the moment.

        • Thanks. Saved me a trip.

  • Just price matched through JB online chat, got it for $40 with perks. Shout out to Joel!

    • Joel F did mine also!!!

      • The real MVP

  • got via JB online chat and price matched.

time to buy and preserve for the next 30 years 🤣

  • damn my kid would have loved this! no stock at any Bigw in VIC, and JB won't price match. boo

  • JB Chat offered me $65 for it so $55 after perks voucher isn’t too bad

    • +4

      Why pay more for it….

      • Because it's still cheaper than RRP of $100 or so.

  • Bigw just refunded my order they have no stock

Flops trying to get a return on a lousy $50 investment…

Shame no stock, my 7 year old would have loved to enjoy this!

Thanks OP! My Big W said low stock but staff couldn't find it, so I went to Target next door to price match - they had heaps!

  • Matched with nerd collectables for 69.99 + perk voucher @jb not a bad result, but sucks I missed this yesterday!
