  • which one is better this or https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/729346 ?

    • 150,000 points is worth roughly $600-$700 depending how you use the points, so other one is slightly better if you can meet the spend

  • Anyone apply for this and got request to upload a "Proof of Address" doc (credit card/bank statement, utilities bills, driver licence, etc) and "Proof of identity" doc (passport, medicare etc)? I've applied many cards with Citibank in the past and never been requested this type of id - or even from any other banks. Normally just online verification is enough for this.

    • Yep same here, think they do this for all their cards now. Probably heightened security checks due to the recent data breaches.

  • How annoying. Was going to apply for this yesterday but procrastinated.
Didn't realise yesterday was the last day

But the website is still up. is there hope for an extension?

  • Why is this deal marked as expired evethough the citi website still displays the same offer

    • Citi's page still displays the offer as finishing 31st january. Im guessing they either renewed it without updating the fineprint or someone cooked it

    • From the T&C

This offer is valid until 31 January 2023. Post this advertised date; we reserve the right to continue, withdraw or change the offer at any time without notice.

I guess the expiry date could be changed to "unknown". Same thing happened for the Prestige card, someone confirmed with support the offer is still valid.

  • Offer has been extended to 31 May 2023, there weren't any changes from what I saw.

  • +1

I did the Revolut thing and got $600 cashback on same day as annual fee, about 3 weeks after account opened.

    • What is the Revolut thing?

      • 2nd comment on front page. Top up Revolut account with Apple/Google pay. Note there is a small fee to top up this way (0.76%) and some accounts have top up limits.

  • Is there some way to tell which transactions in the history are Apple Pay?

I'm unsure how close I am to the spend target as there's a mix of Apple Pay and conventional card payments.
