Asrock Z790 PG SONIC LGA1700 RGB LED ATX Motherboard DDR5 $442.96 Shipped @ Newegg

Credit to Budju's comment. Alternative that's a bit cheaper than the Shopping Express listing due to no surcharge and delivery included in price, however Newegg doesn't have the greatest reputation these days. $489 to $499 at most other retailers currently. I think it'll go nicely in a new blue & white build

"ASRock Z790 PG SONIC, an officially licensed motherboard featuring SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog. A 16-bit spinning ring emblazons the rear IO cover, while on the rear side you’ll even catch a glimpse of Sonic mid-run. The ASRock motherboard is co-launched to celebrate the release of SEGA’s new Sonic Frontiers game.

Designed to bring back epic memories of catching rings in Green Hill Zone, the motherboard echoes Sonic’s lightning speed with its fast blue and silver shards and Sonic silhouette. The ASRock Z790 PG SONIC also features a SONIC-inspired UEFI BIOS interface"

    • Wow just googled it. Looks dope

    • What’s the tech difference between two boards?

      • They are both shit

THese boards, are Bottom of the barrel Spec wise

They are asrocks cheapest boards in that class, all they do is add some decals to them to make ppl who know nothing about computer hardware go

        OHH THAT LOOKS NICE

Watch gamers nexus video on the sonic board, they aren't even using IR Mosfets,it's some shonky 2nd tier company providing the mosfets and VRAM power delivery systems..pass

    • That's a trash bored

It's been widly lambasted by people like buildzoid and few of the other's like bebauer

It uses the AC 870 audio chip YES the one from 2012

      Subpar copper PCB layout

      PCH issues.

  • This is sold and shipped with newegg which is good. Had to RMA a B450 board and returning it was a nightmare. Cause the board was under $100 they just refunded… Given my experience with DOA mobos you're probably safer buying from an aus seller…
