  • My Telstra app is bugged, every time I try to log in, I just get a "Something went wrong. Refresh or try again later." spent 3 hours on support but to no avail. Any ideas?

          Yeah ok might be the same thing that happened to me, there seems to be some sort of issue with new accounts at the moment. I had to go into a Telstra shop to get mine sorted, and there's still apparently a one week for the back end team to repair my account data. Phone support couldn't do anything for me either.

          Tldr get into a Telstra shop asap.

      I just had that this morning. I fixed it by clearing data and signing in again. If you can't do that, maybe try reinstalling the app.

        I tried this last night - failed, went into a Telstra store just then - was told to wait as they had to shut down processing accounts for new customers yesterday due to a few issues. Sometime next week it should be fine.

  • nice thanks OP - i must say was a bit disappointed to find they didnt have some of my fave Adam Freeland albums :( eg, Coastal Breaks and Tectonics. I realise they can't have everything … but boohoo

    Don't use an existing Spotify account that has already used a free offer (e.g. the Xbox offer a few months back)

  • I have no active service with Telstra and got the following message when accessing this reward:

    Sorry
    There were no offers associated with your Telstra ID.

    Please ensure you have an eligible service linked to your Telstra ID via Telstra 24x7 MyAccount under account settings.
    Once you have added a service to your Telstra ID, please login again..

      Choose which service you’d like to add Spotify Premium to and select Redeem.

  • The offer is through My Telstra ID. It will give you 4 months free, after that it will bill $11.99 your existing postpaid Telstra service.

    And you can cancel straightaway and still enjoy premium for 4 months. Their strategy is depending you forget to cancel.

    Has anyone had any success activating this with a prepaid account - or potentially even with Telstra-owned Boost Mobile?
