Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro (LTE, 45mm) $509.40 ($459.40 after Newsletter Code) @ Samsung Education Store/EPP/Westpac Rewards

990

Great deal for those looking at getting this watch. I believe this is cheapest ever at 40% off! The Bluetooth version is even cheaper at $479.40.

The same price is available across various Samsung EPP portals, Government store, and it's even available to eligible WestPac customers in the Rewards and Offers section!
Both colours available at these prices.

I purchased one from this deal and will now return the one I got from JB Hi-Fi after matching Amazon's Black Friday deal last week. Glad that I hadn't unboxed it yet! I hope it helps some of you. Cheers!

        • Mine was a white box..it has the spot for the band but there was no band inside..I didn't select graphite though

  • Signed up for the code 2 days ago, and still nothing, spoke to someone from sales in the chat support and was told the code only works in the normal store, not educational one

    • I keep getting the runaround about the newsletter code (spoken to 3 different chat agents over 3 days now) and then got this from the latest chat agent:

“ May I know if you signed up directly on that portal, or with the normal website first before logging in? If you signed up on this link, you can't be able to use the code on the education site: https://shop.samsung.com/au/sign-up”

      ..and…

"I would be delighted to assist you with your voucher code so that you can continue shopping and begin enjoying our products as soon as possible. It is, however, a system-generated code, and only our Support Team can provide you with one. How about we take advantage of the offers you are getting with education site while we still have stocks available?”

The OzBargainer in me is really struggling to pull the trigger without the code! So dodgy of Samsung.

      • That second sentence, I was told exactly same thing, we must have chatted to the same agent, or, they have a script for us already…

        • 100% a script as he had left a quotation mark in his message! So sounds like they are stalling on the code trying to drive us to buy before the sale ends/stock runs out.

          • @LeoSpaceman: If I don't get the code soon, I'll consider the bundle deal, 10% off if you buy watch with the phone, don't really need a phone, but hey, anything for a discount, lol

            • +1

@Ringu: FYI I sent an email to online store last night and they sent me the code overnight. They also sent a separate email saying they will send the code in 2-10 business days.

So make sure you email [email protected] to complain about not getting the code. It certainly works on edu store! Good luck.

              • @LeoSpaceman: Still no code, they keep saying 2-10 days. I gave up on it, got the Watch 5 Pro for $431.46 without the code, using the bundle discount instead.

              • @LeoSpaceman: I got the code after emailing them. The code works on normal site but not on westpac epp.

  • Spoke to an online agent who mentioned that the code doesn't work on the EPP store. For those that got it to work, which portal did you use? I was going to use it through Westpac.

    • I thunk it should work im waiting on a newsletter code too and in my chats with live chat none of them have said that it wont work with the wespac portal, its just they keep saying they cant generate the code themselves and keep giving me 10% off codes for the main store which is no good.

    • It does work, i just used it today through one of the supermarkets EPP.

      • I tried the westpac epp for customers of westpac today. It wont work for me.

  • Any one has $50 code?? Plz :(

  • For folks who have got the watch 5 pro LTE..mine is shit..battery drains like crazy..feels like working with another Samsung phone..everything is turned on though..LTE on auto..not even a day..how's it going for others?

    • have the pro too, and i have to charge every 2 days so far. apparently from reading forums, watch needs time to adjust at first so we will wait and see.

      • And yours is the LTE version with all possible features turned on?

        • LTE…I turn off AOD.

    • Currently at 2 days and 10 hours with 9% remaining. LTE with all features left at default, with the exception of Google Assistant being installed and set to listen when screen is on.

      Definite improvement over my GW3.

      • Left at default means the below set or the way it came out of the box?

        AOD
        Sleep O2
        Continuous HRM
        Continuous Stress
        Bluetooth always connected
        LTE auto

  • 5 Pro or TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra? Still deciding…leaning towards 5 Pro for the health features, but then there is the secondary display with 45 days battery on the Pro 3 Ultra.

    • My experience has been pathetic with battery life..it's been only 2 days though but I am not very hopeful about battery life if you keep all the features on..this is the LTE model..or my device could be defective :)

  • Does this work for St George/BankSA/BoM offers or just Westpac?

  • Please note this only comes with the sports band. The default is the "D buckle" band which is $50 more hence why this is cheaper

    • My one came with the D-Buckle Sport Band

      • interesting, did you pay more for it? I paid $29.95

        • It was pre-selected with the watch 5 pro, paid $431.46 in total, so not sure how much they charged for the band…

          • @Ringu: damn, maybe i chose the wrong band

            • @Homr: yeah, it's a bit tricky how the store works, they have options with bands or watch only without band, and you gotta pick one.

            • @Homr: For pro - Grey model is cheaper than black model.
Cannot remember for sure but i think Grey model with grey D-buckle cost more than the grey model with black D-buckle

          • @Ringu: Since the deal is still active, I started playing around with it again

Did yours cost $431.46 with the $50 discount code?

The cheapest price I can get with the d-knuckle band is $479.40

            alaxy Watch5 Pro

Galaxy Watch5 Pro Black Titanium 45mm Bluetooth

            D-Buckle Sport Band Black M/L
            Device discount - $319.60
            Total $479.40
            You saved today
            list price $799.00
            Save $319.60

If I choose the sports band, it goes down to $449.20

I purchased this as a gift for someone and they asked why the band was different lol. It also comes in a white box instead of the known black box

            • @Homr: No, I never got the discount code, so gave up on it.

All I can see on the invoice is:
              1 x Galaxy Watch5 Pro Bluetooth (45mm)
              SM-R920NZTAXSA
              —-Save $47.94 (Was $799.00 now $431.46)—-

My one came with D-Buckle Sport Band (Grey) and it was all in a Black Box, not White.

  • Anyone know if I can order from the EPP store and then pick up from the physical samsung store? Or place an order at the physical samsung store using the discount?

I travel overseas early Jan, want to have it for then, as well as claim TRS.

  • Also - does anyone know what company Samsung use for delivery - and what the shipping times were like?

    • +1

When i bought mine there was no option to pick up , i ordered mine last weekend and it was dispatched on monday and came on wednesday delivered by startrack express

    • +1

      Startrack, within 1-2 business days

  • Btw if you ask for the newsletter code now, they say the deal is now expired 31-12 as per T&Cs. So yeah hopefully SS will extend it.
