      I don't know if paying in advance is an option. pay in advance and then Setup paypal auto renewal and cancel from PayPal.

      Just switch auto-renew off right after you get the sim activated. You will run out of credit 29days later and you can go back in a switch on AR again. Once plan renews, switch off again and repeat the next month. I don’t think this interferes with your data banking but maybe someone else can advise.

              @WaywardOne: The accounting standard is 313/12, when determining how many fortnightly pays there are in a year, to account for leap years.

              Or 26 and 1/12th per year.

              28 days is two fortnights

              So half that number, and the answer is 13 and 1/24th (13.041667).

    Last year I took long expiry deal with 165gb data and that was overall a good experience. So, I jumped back again to amaysim and took the previous deal of $9/m with 55gb data but going to leave it at the end of this month's bill. Terrible data speeds all around Melbourne and lots of other users also complaining the same.

    At what step does the site show $10 ? It shows "Pay today $30.00" for me (not yet logged in), and putting the code into field "add a promo" results in error "Sorry, that code doesn't exist".

    I just renewed my Amaysim 12 month 60gb deal from Black Friday last year. Paid Amaysim $90 for another 12 months and got 50gb of bonus data plus they rolled over the 30 gb I did not use last year giving me 140gb for this year.

    I bought a $2 sim pack as someone suggested in one of these deal posts, having trouble getting this deal on the simpack I have ready to go.

    I don't mind ordering another simpack and waiting, was just trying to avoid it if I didn't have to. Chat support is unavailable, does anyone know if I need to order a different sim for this deal?

    I plan on using a Revolut card for this deal, given the reports about Amaysim charging full price in the second month, which isn't surprising.

    Still a good deal. I am using the $9 a month for 6 months. They screwed up one month and charged $30. Support fixed it and refunded me instantly.

    I have 150-200gb of banked data. Dunno what I am gonna do with it!

    What day should I cancel after the 6 month period? For example, if I purchased it on the 16th of January, do I cancel 24 hrs ahead (So 15th July), or should I do it a couples days or a week ahead?
