    These are a bit chunky and you wont be able to use the adjacent socket. Bought and returned (in past).

      You don't need to use the meross app to set up and use one. I've never tried blocking access though.

    What would be use cases for these ? I have a similar one, only thing I used it for was to turn on/off a lampshade.. other than that.. not much else..

      My wife uses it to turn the electric blanket on from the lounge so it's warm when she hops in bed.
      I use one to turn on a fan half-way through a cycling work-out on the indoor trainer.
      I have another one to turn the subwoofer on/off when watching movies.

      I bought two a couple of years ago so I could manage the christmas tree lights and the back deck fairy lights with my iphone. But other than that, I can't find much use for them.

      Mostly various lights.
      Switches for outdoor LV lights are in awkward positions so I use smart switches to operate those. 2 for tree and outdoor Christmas lights (and random stuff at other points in the year, like oil heaters), one for office lamp behind laptop for better video call lighting, one for Vornado that turns on when AC is on to circulate it around the room better.

      Other people use for coffee machines that take a while to heat up so it's ready in the morning.

      They don't have the outdoor version for Australia but it's great for outdoor garden or Xmas lights.

    These bigass plugs work but I had to return them as they're so big that they blocked the neighbouring power socket.

      These aren't certified for Australian use. Good luck if they catch fire and your house burns down.

      One thing I wouldn't eff around with in the house is electrical.

    are there any similar products that allow you to fit two next to each other into a double power point ? These ones seem too big. Or should I just run all through one power connector ?
