[PC] Get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II with Purchase of a Qualifying 11th, 12th or 13th Gen Intel CPU @ Selected Retailers

290

Seeing as the game is $109.95 on Battle.net and usually doesn't fall in price as quickly as other games, this promo seems pretty decent if you are interested in getting the game on PC.

Good value + performance option seems to be the i5-12400F which is going for $239 (at BPC Tech & MWave) to $259 at numerous retailers. The 11400F is cheaper at $219 at some places but probably not worth the $20 saving vs the 12400F. Laptops also qualify as long as they have an eligible CPU in them

  • Damn anythign for AMD chips just went Red instead of Blue this time around

  • Where are we meant to see the master key?

    • they should give it to you on the invoice/ or after when you purchased the cpu

      • Oh right. Bugger - just checked, I ordered mine on the 20th. Must not have been eligible :(

        • Hmmm try anyway. I purchased my laptop a while ago and messaged the retailer about my laptop qualifying for this promo and they just sent me the tax invoice with the code.

        • This event has been running for a while, I purchased my CPU on the 28th of October and the event had been running for a while already.

    • In my experience online retailers will get you to email them post purchase along with your order details then they email you the code. If you purchased in the eligibility period you should be good to get a master key!

  • Reminder: Please use the Classifieds if you want to purchase or sell anything. It's against the guidelines to solicit sales / trades in the comment section of deals. Thanks and regards

  • Master key, they want to create problem

    • Does that mean you need to install the cpu into the system to redeem it?

      • No you just create an Intel Software account via that website and enter the Master Key code. It then prompts you to link your battle.net account to your intel account and assigns MWII to your battle.net account.

  • Word of warning that many of the retailers will be sold out of codes - I had to return an order to CA a few weeks ago which they weren't too happy about.

With this promotion, I also got

    Total War Warhammer 3
    DLC for Vampire Bloodlines
    One of (Beatbuddy/Laserlife/Neverwinter:uprising DLC/ShockRods/X-Morph Defense)

Best thing was I was just happy with the 13700K and didn't even know about the promotion until MSY emailed a MasterKey to me.

    • I think this maybe a different promo, just the mw2 game

      • I got that too.

Surely it's the same one. I bought this last week.

        • curious how you got so many games, I only got MWII with my master key from Scorptec

@keongyip: The previous bundles were the CoD Bundle (for i5 CPUs) - with only COD MWII and then the CoD Plus Bundle (for i7 and i9 CPUs) with Total War Warhammer 3 & DLC for Vampire Bloodlines in addition to MWII, but most retailers ran out of codes. This new promo replaces the old ones and ups the number of eligible CPUs and retailers

Game is already dying in the ass.

    Warzone is horrible.

They're so desperate to get you to buy MWll, not even Plunder.

    Impossible to upgrade guns.

I've played about 2-3 hours since release.

All the numbers on YouTube from streamers are way down!

Disappointing, but saves me time! 🤣

It’s an improvement on the last two cods.
There are some elements that seem to need further work for warzone.
Gun leveling is different, not impossible if you know what you’re doing.
      I’m enjoying it

      • It's so Arcade, like MP.

        It's not Warzone.

        Should of kept them seperate.

Last season, I was Level 640. I don't even play that much, but leveling weapons in Warzone alone is very very difficult.

Everyone had complained about the grinding, they made the game easier for all the bots but at the same time it's basically impossible to level guns to be on a level playing field.

Theyre just doing this to try get you to buy packs.

        It's all $$$

    • The one thing I've been enjoying is DMZ (aka Tarkov-lite). Love hearing the absolute panic and chaos when you surprise another player team and hearing them fail at coordination…
Don't get me wrong, I get ganked as much as others do, but the times you come out on top are so good.

  • Purchased 13700k few weeks before Christmas still haven't received the code, pretty useless customer service tbh

Where from, some places you need to email there marketing team or sales. Give them a email. I got the same CPU around the same time from PCCG and I had to email them and then wait near a week for them to reply with a code.
