Accident / Incident / Injury Reporting Software

Looking for some free or cheap accident / incident / injury reporting software for our company.
Currently using a SharePoint template which isn't cutting it.

Want to be able to generate reports and filter injury types, ect.

Anyone got any leads or suggestions?

  • https://safetibase.org is open source and integrates into SharePoint so might be an option.

Microsoft Forms? If you're using SharePoint, you should also have access to Forms. Data is collated as an Excel spreadsheet which you can download every time a new incident is reported.

  • Have look at the software on the following page as some of it may be what you are looking for:

    A Google form will Work

    • Just incase you aren't aware why you got downvoted, the reason is probably because the OP said they use Sharepoint which means they're in an organisation that's using Office 365.

A business can't just decide to use a private use product like Google Suite without setting up a paid business account to store confidential/private information.

OP,should make clear the operational and commercial requirement in that case.

  • maybe improve working conditions so you dont have accidents, incidents and injuries.
then sharepoint will be enough! :P

    What's not cutting it?

If you're using Office 365 then there's an array of options that are free and readily available to you. Forms linked to an Excel sheet? Or even just an Excel sheet itself will give you all the filtering/reporting you need.

Follow up question, how many incidents do you have at work that you need to track them with all this filtering!?

      Hi dchurch,

I'm not the IT wizz at our company so bare with me. Not everyone at our organisation has access to Sharepoint (e.g our floor workers), I'm looking for a program in which they can log in on an app or on a work computer, type up a report and have our quality team action or ticket to certain departments, add follow up notes, and attach documents.

We are in the disability field so incidents are a regular occurrence.

Maybe SharePoint is the answer but thought it test the waters if someone is using something better. :)

Shouldn’t the WHS officer or a supervisor fill out the form instead of the floor workers?

What’s the process if an incident occurs? A floor worker tells another floor worker and then one of them writes up a report? Isn’t it reported up the chain?

A supervisor should always be on duty, they should have logins so they should fill out the form (with the worker’s input of course).

Google sheets. Can use add ons to create forms and mobile apps to add photos and location details.
