Just found this in my rewards, effectively 15% off any gift card, gonna use it on the Super Shopper myself.
Then use in ShopBack for netting extra cashbacks.

NB: Super Shopper gift card is no longer accepted at grocery stores. (Woolies/Coles/ALDI)

      The payment shows up as Karta Co in Amex Statement. And Amex did not recognise as I have used the offer yet. How was your experience?

      Correction: I see one can buy Woolworths giftcards from there however this deal is for "Special Gift Card" and not seeing Woolworths as a store that one can use that card in.

          I think you are correct now that I read the post. Its' the "Super Shopper gift card " that won't work but this is for any giftcard purchase so no reason one could not but a Wollies one.

    Word of caution - the list of accepted retailers has dropped down recently and the Super shopper can no longer be redeemed at Woolies, coles, Aldi etc. there are still a few stores like bigw, target etc on the list but who knows how long. Something to consider if you do not have a plan to spend immediately as the list will not be the same.

      If you have a BIG W near you, you should be able to use a Super Shopper gift card to purchase a WISH gift card instore.

      If you have a Kmart or Target near you, you should be able to use a Super Shopper gift card to purchase a Coles Group & Myer gift card instore.

      If you have ShopBack, select Amazon GC and pay it using this Super Shopper GC at payment page. Then load the Amazon GC onto your Amazon account.

          The Super Shopper card works just like a Mastercard so you should be able to update your payment method with it at Amazonā€™s checkout

          Damn. So, say I buy a $133 card (to make full use of Amex 15% offer), then I have to buy exactly $134 worth of items. Otherwise, a bit of money will be left in the card unusable. (no split payment at Amazon). Am I right, or are there any other hacks for this too?

            @amazonaddict: I don't know what Amex offer you are talking about but if you are using Amex then that means you won't be able to get $15 off using Commbank card from this deal?

            It works at bigw/kmart if you want to do split payment.

                @amazonaddict: Sounds like your question is around Amex x Special deal rather than Commbank x Special. The Amex deal is probably the best place to answer your question.

                You won't be able to stack both of them together as each deal requires you to pay with different cards.

                Your best bet is to buy the special GC separately - $100 on commbank, and then $134 on Amex.

              @CodeXD: It may be never changed actually like the same thing with Coles Prepaid MC. Just try adding the card for some times, do not give up after the 1st attempt and it will work in my experience.

          Hi mate, not sure what the other guy you quoted experienced about it not being able to be used in Shopback, but I confirm I also just purchased $100 Amazon via SB and it worked fine. Maybe got lucky idk.

    Just bought a jbhifi gift card and am having trouble redeeming it though the jbhifi website - the order appears to go through and then get an automatic verification error email from jbhifi… have tried various things to get it to work… not worth the headache!

    Tried to use apple pay and got into a checkout loop. Had to manually enter card. 10mins later no sms with details of card but an email to me:

    "Your Super Shopper Special Card order for xxxxxx is currently being reviewed. We will provide an update within 1 business day."

    so don't expect to buy just before you go to buy something.

    EDIT: they were happy to take the money out of my account asap though :| being reviewed but already charged…..

    I am starting to regret placing an order now. My order over an hour already still processing. Not even in review.

    I ordered the Good Guys gift card thinking that it was a Good Guys giftcard, and just realised that if this comes through like a debit card, then how do you pay for things more than the card value if ordering online. Guess only way is to go into store.

      Depending on what Special cards you bought, you might be able use it to buy other gift cards in Shopback. Double dipping!

      I bought 6x Super Shopper before and was able to buy other gift cards in Shopback.

        I am not sure what they will provide as I just ordered the Good Guys giftcard as wanted to purchase something from there. So no idea whether it's an actual Good Guys giftcard or one of the special categories giftcard.

        Anyway, I will try and request for a refund if I don't get the Giftcard today.

    Do you guys know will I get a tracking sms or email for the cashback? I got no tracking record after purchased the gift card for over a week. I have no idea how to claim the missing cashback from CBA as well (not like the shopback or cashrewards).

      Don't worry. This does not work like the cashback sites. There is no tracking or emails. The cashback will appear in your account, maybe in a week or 2. Very few reports of problems. If you do have one you should call customer service at the bank.

    If you have an old super shopper gift card before they removed woolies from it you can request it to be transferred to a woolies gift card.
