Boost Mobile: $60 Cashback on $264 290GB 12-Month Prepaid SIM @ TopCashback AU

850

I asked TA for a deal. Here's an awesome offer of $204 (after cashback).

  • Cashback is on the purchase of the physical SIM only. You can convert to eSIM after you have received the physical SIM. Activate the physical SIM first, insert and then convert to eSIM.
  • If you're a current Boost customer, you will need to port out into another provider (e.g. $2 Telstra SIM) and then port back into Boost. Please see the steps in my comment here.

It is recommended to use the TopCashback app, click the 'Get Cashback' pink button to the Boost website, mobile data (not Wi-Fi) and Chrome browser.

TA's Tracking Tips:

  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave and close any additional browser tabs.
  • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase, and must not be deactivated until your cashback is payable. If the SIM is deactivated prior, Boost may decline cashback.
  • Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. If there is more than one SIM in an order, it will result in an untracked purchase and the purchase will be ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on eSIMs, recharges, phones, bundles, accessories, $2 SIMs.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any gift cards, vouchers, or store credit for partial or full payment. Cashback is also ineligible on purchase of any gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must accept and allow all 3rd party cookies on the retailer's page if requested.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the 'get cashback' button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

Hey guys. Just been given the go-ahead to run this at $60 cashback (up from $55) until 23:59 AEDT Nov 3 (unless withdrawn earlier by Boost). If you've already purchased, don't worry as the transaction has already been updated in your accounts. @trixieb please kindly update the post. Thanks everyone for your support as always. Stay safe, and enjoy :)

If you are unable to pay due to "SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG" message, please try the following suggestions:

    • Use a debit card (instead of credit card).
    • Use your Passport as ID (instead of driver's licence).
    • Use a different email.
    • Type your address manually.
      (i) Type any address and choose "I can't find my address" as shown here.
(ii) Add your address manually in the "Address" section shown here. It's below "Delivery address".
(iii) Vary a little e.g. St instead of Street, Ave instead of Avenue etc.
    • Vary your name e.g. Pete instead of Peter, Bob, Rob instead of Robert etc.

If you experience any issues at the checkout page, start all over again to ensure tracking. Click the pink button at TopCashback through to Boost website again.

    All the best.

All the best is right - I can NEVER activate sims or buy from the Boost site. I now have to use a family members details. So weird. Yes, I have tried all off the above suggestions. One by one, all at the same time, combinations of them. Boost simply does not want me :(

      • It's a temporary block. Also happens with Telstra. I'm with Telstra and had the something wrong when buying a phone from Telstra online. Had to use a relative's details to buy the phone.

Just bought from Costco for $220 on Sunday after considering their $30 GC 😞

  • +1

@trixieb thank you! Grabbing one now

  • Includes International calls to Italy. Brilliant. Does anyone know if standard calls are to a mobile or landline?

    • +2

      Both.

    • +1

Great, now I can call up and order pineapple pizza!

      • Bolognaise with added pineapple

Too many hoops with Boost. Looks like they want people to just pay the full price without any cashback. It wasn't like this before, you would expect things to get better overtime instead of getting worse.

PS: I spoke with their customer service and they told me if I go to a shop, they will accept other forms of ID and the process will be straightforward.

    • Unfortunately it's their IT security randomly blocking some orders and the same with the original Telstra on the website too. It's temporary and not a permanent block.

I need this in a couple of months, or I'll no longer be a boost customer

    They got WAY too expensive

  • Mine's expiring at the end of the month, what's the best, cheapest, and safest way to port out to get this deal?

I use a physical sim so that I can use a travelling esim simultaneously.

    • I just get an aldi sim

      • @snoopydoop I've mentioned in the post description e.g. $2 Telstra SIM:

If you're a current Boost customer, you will need to port out into another provider (e.g. $2 Telstra SIM) and then port back into Boost. Please see the steps in my comment here.

        • +1

          Oops, thank you!

        • But isn't it a problem since both Boost and Telstra are the same network? Aren't you supposed to port to a different network for it to work? Or am I wrong?

          • +1

@thisusernameistaken: Same network but different providers

          • +1

@thisusernameistaken: As mentioned, Telstra and Boost operate separately so it's fine.

            • @trixieb: Thanks, and I can immediately port back in?

              • @thisusernameistaken: Yes as per my post description and the link. Don't need to recharge the $2 SIM.

If you're a current Boost customer, you will need to port out into another provider (e.g. $2 Telstra SIM) and then port back into Boost. Please see the steps in my comment here.

  • Got the old we're having technical issues when confirming payment….deja vu!

  • Too late grrrrr …literally just activated my 6 month Telstra SIM.

  • any idea when would the SIM expire?

still have a couple of months left of my yearly plan.

    massive thanks for the deal.

    • +1

SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase

      • thanks mate.

Guess will have to wait for another deal in a month or so.

        • +1

          Black Friday deals 😊

  • Is porting from telstra pre paid acceptable to get cashback?

    • You just need to activate the SIM within 30 days. How you get there doesn't matter.

    • @jzcykd It would be fine porting from Telstra prepaid for cashback. Telstra and Boost operate separately.

  • Miraculously I got cashback to track with the above tips. I've tried to get cashback on Booost so many times and had given up.

    • Still waiting for the last deal to track. Have lodged the ticket let's see how it goes…

  • Can i claim this cashback twice?

Planning to renew mine ($2 telstra sim method) and port my wife over

    • Yes. Please make a separate purchase for each SIM for the cashback.

Start all over again to ensure individual tracking. Click the pink button at TopCashback through to Boost website for each transaction.

      T&Cs:

Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. If there is more than one SIM in an order, it will result in an untracked purchase and the purchase will be ineligible for cashback.

  • I had a nightmare with this last year, i couldn’t get the port-out to work. In the end Boost were able to sort me out after many hours on the phone (and fortunately Cashrewards still payed put despite the late activation).

I said never again… but this is still ~$300 cheaper than going to Aldi for family of 4, so I will go again!

    • Good luck 🤞

  • |SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase
    offer expires in 13 days

I still have 48 days left on my optus sim, which means I will have to sacrifice atleast 5 days of my current plan :(

  • +1

thanks bought one to replace my More sim which will expire mid-Nov

  • @M7RM @aka nioh @Qwertytop In case you missed my tag, as promised, $204 (after $60 cashback) for Boost $264 290GB SIM.

  • Any cash back for $365 sim? Thanks in advance

    • The upsized cashback and Boost sale ended last night. There would probably be another offer later.

This offer is better value as it includes international calls and text.

      • Thanks for the clarification. Bought one. I am also after $365 sim which has international calling included.

        • +1

Unfortunately Boost seems to have changed the $365 SIM recently and it now excludes international calls. Telstra equivalent still has and I use the Telstra SIM.

          • @trixieb: Just checked.. You are right. Thanks again for your reply.

  • Nice! Thanks TA. Can I get 2 sim in 2 separate orders? Would i get $120 or just $60?

    • Yes. Please make a separate purchase for each SIM for the cashback. You will get $60 each for each separate order.

  • Would black friday beat this?

    • Not sure. I don't recall Boost being this cheap (after Cashback) with that amount of data and INT included.

      • @Rage Roze This is one of the better offers. The lowest price was $190 (after cashback) posted in March 2025.

Not sure if Black Friday offers will beat this one. Last year's Black Friday was worse. The offer I posted just after Black Friday was actually better than Black Friday's as mentioned here. That offer is also worse than this offer.

    Awesome work, thanks!

Cashback tracked instantly for me. Used Chrome on Android phone using the browser to log into topcashback.

  • When I click the pink button on the TCB app, the page opens in Safari and shows an error. Is there a way to change this to Chrome? Thank you

    • Use chrome app to open browser then type in topcashback.com.au in the URL.
I didn't use the app as the terms says it will void if using the TCB app.
