  • Isnt that code for westpac employees only?

    • +2

      Does it matter?

      • +7

And when they ask you to prove you work there? Then what?

You going to rock up in your 80k car?

        • +1

          Relax, they won’t care.

          • @jayk87: Not sure why digidirect emailed me asking to prove that i work for westpac. I call phishing scam then?

        • And when they ask you to prove you work there? Then what?

You going to rock up in your 80k car?

Most Westpac employees couldn't afford an $80K car.

          • @Tardvark: Im conflicted. You been here long enough yet you dont seem to be familiar with that one guy who was boasting to be a westpac employee claiming he got himself an 80k car as an investment.

    • +1

So they removed the code, right? Still lowest price at $579?

Supposedly it's $10 off with email signup (untested): https://www.digidirect.com.au/customer/account/create
Or just leave the browser open for a while and a popup appears, "Join our email list to get $10 off your next purchase"

Please don't use the code unless you are a Westpac employee. Once your order is processed, digiDirect will send you an order verification email stating the following :

"You have recently made a purchase at digiDirect using the coupon code WESTPAC10, which is reserved for single use by employees of Westpac and its affiliated companies."

This order requires additional information before it can be processed to ensure your eligibility for the offer. Please email [email protected] with the following:

    1. If you have used the coupon mentioned above more than once, please advise which order you wish to process (by including the order number), as this is a single use coupon for each customer.

    2. Ensure the email sent is from your Westpac (or affiliate) email address to verify your employment, and therefore eligibility, for the offer.

They will gladly take the full amount before they send you this order verification email, and then they will take their sweet time in issuing you a refund. I made an order 3 weeks ago and they still haven't given me a refund.

Well, you could spoof an email using the Westpac domain name?
Might need to ask them to check their junk mail for your email tho…

  • Bezels galore!

  • Soooooo … Just purchased (thanks OP, but didn't use the $10 code).

    Invoice comes through …
    Grand Total: $579
    Qty: 0

    That's a whopping divide-by-zero-error per phone! Ugh.

Its the latest thing with apple. First they got rid of the charger in the box. Now you get nothing at all as it great for the environment.

      • +1

Ah, watching your money disappear. Magical!

Edit: … and after 20 minutes in the queue on phone support, kicked with "leave a message". Magical regrets creeping in.

    Dont forget Cashback 😷

  • Thanks OP … was on the look out for this! Ordered one.

I don't however see where it mentions if it is the AU version or a Grey import

    • +1

Says it at the very bottom of the product description

      • Thanks OP

    • What was the Qty value on your invoice?

      • QTY = 0

        • +1

Cheers. We got the same discount.

          • +1

@SteveNG: If you login to the online account and view the order details … it says QTY = 1 there.

Thanks Op, pricebeat at OW, paid with discounted Home giftcard

  • Amazon, you can do it!

  • I tried to get OW to pricebeat, but they pushed back because they weren't sure whether it was new or a refurb model, despite it showing a crossed-out Original Price, and there being no mention of it being a refurb.

    • Try again

      • I called at 10 mins before closing and it sounded like the senior staff had already left for the day. Will try again in the morning.

  • No love for the 128gb or 256gb 😷
