Not sure if good but can’t find the 16 pro max for cheaper
Might be worth seeing if Officeworks or Harvey will price match or beat

Referrer & referee receive $25-$50 credit after referee's 3rd monthly bill.
i few months ago you could get that price from office works.
I bought one for 1766 matching Costco at OW and no plans :)
Sadly, those days are gone.
Why do you want it for cheaper? Wait a month and probably could get 17 pro max at that price
The new iPhone is going to use aluminium. So all round a lower build quality, and no it will definitely be 2k+
wow, they're going back to aluminium?
It's a rumour. Nothing confirmed.
@Maths Debater: Almost all reputable leaks say it’s switching back to aluminium bodies for ease of production and sustainability. 90% chance it will be aluminium
you'll hardly feel the difference. It's really a gimic for a common man!
If you are that keen in the 16, just wait month then, prices will start to drop after the 17
That would make logical sense to do, but past years have shown the pro max hardly ever drops in price when the new one is released
This. Everyone puts a case on the phone anyway. A steel or titanium body adds extra weight, and an aluminium body with more battery power is a great trade-off.
I am all in for a lighter iPhone.
17 Pro Max will likely have an increased RRP, and will be full price or close to for a good 3-4 month minimum.
Having said that, if you can get one of the JB deals, it might be a better deal.
Don’t buy a high end iPhone in the middle of August.
Either get the new one next month or jag a better deal on the outgoing one after it launches
Yeah might be worth waiting for clearance sales but I doubt it’ll get cheaper than 1750.
it was $1650 from jb a few weeks back
I have watched this cycle the past two years, Pro Max n-1 stays nearly the same price on launch of latest device
What about standard Pro? Do you see the same pattern?
Pretty much
The AI stuff is still a promise and the new phone is almost here and its finally going to be an upgrade (google iphone 17)
This is a stinker of a deal
Pretty similar apart from more RAM which I don’t care about, also the build quality looks worse going from titanium to aluminium. The back of the new iPhone looks terrible too
just download gemini and configure it with the shortcut button, apple isn't going to get it very soon.
waiting out for 17, will be going from 15. Moving to 16 from 15 is not worthy.
I's till using an XS
that's sick, I will try out the 17 in JB physically and see if its worth upgrading or not.
Haha.. same, on XS Max. Still going strong and still unsure whether to go with 17 or wait till 18 :-D
on XS Max
Yes, that's what I have… No need to update yet.
Done battery in it yeah?
15pm is still great and will be after the 17 too. Can easily wait another year and get the rumoured foldable
New ones out in a few weeks…
People forgetting you can get last-gen iPhone Pro Max 1 TB deals for this price or even lower
Yeah but the 15 series overheats like crazy. I'd never buy a 15 series.
I meant when the 17 comes out. So the 16 Pro Max 1 TB will be this price of even lower
What's with the obsession on this site with buying 1TB iPhones? Practically no one will ever use all that space.
@Grimace: "Never pay more than you have to" implies that if this would be the price of a 1TB Pro Max, then 256GB would be even cheaper. Hence, this is not a good deal.
Got 14 pro max.
I always check the websites for a week or two after the new model is released and check comparisons to see if it’s worthwhile upgrading. Lately every three years is usually a major upgrade. So probably will jump to the 17 pro Max.
And then get the 10 times points on Apple Card’s at colesworth.
If anyone finds any other good discount on Apple phones please let us know. I’ll do likewise.
Wait how do you get the points?
Sorry meant 20x points
Every now and then Cole’s and Woolies have a 20x points on their rewards and flybuys cards for Apple gift cards and other gift cards. 10% in points
For example buy $2000 of Apple Card and get 40,000 points on your card which equals $200 of shopping there is a limit on the number of cards you can buy.
It’s always posted on here
Cheers mate thanks for the explanation
Gosh, what a pleasant surprise it would be to see another small or mini iPhone during the September reveals….(cries in 13 mini)
HN/JB/OWKS won't price match. This is on a 12, 24 or 36mth plan
