lol $50, forget it, buy lotto tickets tonight

    • Haha. fair enough. I thought there may be some chinese brand on aliexpress that may have been a contender! Hopefully you are wrong :)
      Thanks for your input :)

      • they are all Chinese, forget aliexpress unless its for xmas 23 lol

    Forget ANC at this price.

    • How far do I need to increase my price?

      • Depends how much ANC. Even my Galaxy Buds struggle . Go Sony Earpuds @ $300+

  • There’s these random brand on offer for $68:

Deal of the day: Srhythm NC25 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones, Wireless Headphones Bluetooth 5.0, Lightweight Stereo Headset Over-Ear with Low Latency, Protein Earpads, 50H Playtime https://amzn.asia/d/gMVV5VD

Tons of good reviews which are probably mostly fake but it’s your only real option. Unlikely to be that great though, so you can try and return if unhappy.

Really need another $100 on top to get something semi-decent.

    • Yeah fair enough.

Sounds like best to spend the extra money.
Like i said in another comment. I was kinda hoping there was an aliexpress decent brand that was worth.

    • The NC is not too bad for use on plane. But i have used better models

I got these "Edifier 330NB True Wireless Earbuds" from Amazon for around 40ish.

I'm consistently impressed with them, ANC is good but not perfect, battery life is great, connect instantly with using iPhone. For the price they're awesome.

      Earbuds aren’t headphones.

Not sure if OP wanted something overear as oppossed to earbuds but if earbuds are fine this is a good option.

  • Why are ANC headphones so expensive?
I don't see how they contain any expensive components, except the same driver used in regular headphones.
The IC that does the work is not expensive.

  • These work pretty well:

I bought some Taotronics (the ones that look like QC35’s), and they’re pretty good. Got them for $60ish

    • oh cool. where from?

      • -2

        google.com.au

        • To be fair it got harder to buy Taotronics now that it's no longer on Amazon. I miss RAVpower on Amazon too.

          • @dust: They are on Amazon now 22% off

            • @Mcuser: I thought they got banned/removed off Amazon?

            • @Mcuser: not based on my amazon search. can't see taotronic branding at all.
Don't know how you can see them.

            • @Mcuser: Can you link to them?
I believe you because I have seen other Taotronics stuff still on Amazon before, but with branding removed and title having generic name.
Link would help because they are hard to find. I was only able to find some by keep browsing and clicking through the recommended products.

        • My google says: $129 for taotronics unforch. hence the question.

  • You're not going to get very good ANC at this price range, but you still can get ok-ish to decent ANC under $100. Amazon tends to have a few for around the $60 range, like from SoundPEATS and some other companies.

  • What about these Teac ANC headphones? Still $63.

Best bang for buck would be Anker Q30's when they are $99.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/anker-soundcore-life-q3…
But be aware the Q30's ANC does not work when wired to in flight entertainment. You will need to spend a bit extra for the Q35's which has ANC when wired.

  • Just don't buy anything that look like Airpods.

    Huawei freebuds 4i

    • Have this and not a bad recommendation. ANC works decently well and calls sound good to the other side.

    • hahah. good reviews though
