Bought this last time and took them over 3 weeks to ship, what a joke!

  • 20g of protein per serve

    22g of carbs per serve

    • Why they called carb killer

A bushel of apples packed into each bar, plus a secret ingredient that unleashes the awesome power of apples.

These bars proclaim to be "low carb" but are stuffed to the gills with Moltitol. If your on a low carb/keto/diabetic diet I'd recommend avoiding these.

    • What do you recommend instead.

My favourite keto product is not doing keto cos it (profanity) sucks for the majority of punters with their fitness goals.

Running off a high fat diet means it's far easier to overshoot your caloric intake, thus harder to fall into calorie deficit, and actually lose weight consistently. Ketosis as an energy source also produces worse running performance, worse muscular recovery, worse power output, and worse muscular hypertrophy

It's literally only good if you're extremely overweight, are able/committed to micromanaging your dietary intake, enjoy feeling crap while running, and enjoy making slower progress on your gym lifts. You'll also have horrible breath

sucks for the majority of punters with their fitness goals.

I don't think most people do keto to increase fitness.

        • I did strict keto for about a year straight and now stick to low carb (usually stay under 50 grams). I was lean before keto and became even leaner during. Very active lifestyle.

I agree that it's pretty easy to overshoot, or even undershoot (which I did) your calorie needs, especially if your active and have a fitness goal. You'll need to micromanage what you consume which becomes tedious.

In saying that, my experience was once fat adaption kicked in I could literally do 160-70bpm cardio for hours without exhaustion. Compared to hitting "the wall" on previous carb diet.

There are so many PROS (appetite suppression, consistent energy, clear headedness), which turn out to be CONS (also appetite suppression lol) it depends entirely on what your trying to achieve.

Product that don't contain much, if any, sugar alcohols. Quest bars, keto (bounce) bars, RAW.

In all honesty though if your trying to do strict keto/low carb, your better off not consuming any commercial processed snacks even if they are keto friendly. They are too easy to eat and can and will stop you from eating real food instead which is infinitely healthier.

    Thanks op.

Last time I bought 10 boxes.

They're not bad, but not great. I do struggle to want to eat them 🤣

    But not horrible.

    Don't buy 10 boxes tho.

    🤣🤣🤣

Really? I actually liked them, personal preference I guess.

I’m down to half a box so I will grab some more, thanks OP.

      • +3

I can eat them, but I don't like or love them.

They're not bad, but I just don't really enjoy eating them like some others.

        • Can you recommend any of their other flavours?

    • +2

      Thanks bought 9 boxes.

    • I bought similar amount of boxes and I have no problem eating them.

  • I have eaten a few of these, the taste is subjective but it's not offensive, just quite sweet. If you are trying to get away from chocolate type bars, this isn't a terrible choice. In my opinion you will have trouble eating more than one of these per day without persevering.

  • I got it weeks ago at $9.99 per box which contains12 bar from catch
