Cheapest copies I've seen, and I thought I got a bargain when they were $49.

Eh, if you're going to play hundreds of hours of this then it would be a pain to have to constantly swap out the cart anyway.

Personally im enjoying it.
Almost at the end. It has a few hiccups now and then but still fun. A step in the right direction.It's always a step in the right direction bit never gets there since X&Y
Never liked X&Y, pacing and balance was way off. Now, B&W, that was a change I liked chef's kiss
@PirateKingJack: Agreed with pacing but the PSS wmand player customisation was amazing in this one. Love B&W as well but for me, Pokemon definitely peaked in HGSS
@azngamer: @azngamer I agree with the peak being HGSS, since it really had it all. Though my fondest memories were always the earlier generations
Ignore the hate. Yes the game runs like a dog at times and is a little glitchy but despite all that it’s still bloody fun! This is from someone 120hrs+ in.
Apparently, Nintendo has fixed the game now. You just need to run on it on Yuzu with the SteamDeck.

There's a great game behind the technical issues. Outside of the frame rate, I haven't really experienced any bugs. Definitely worth it at $35
The most recent patch makes it run slightly better also. Best Pokemon game in a whileOther than the glitches and performance issues, which are very present, it is great!
I have attempted to play every pokemon gen, but haven't been able to get into anything from Sun Moon onwards, this however is just fun! It doesn't take itself seriously, it's just a purely fun, breath of fresh air.

It's been the trend for last few gens. X outsold Y, Sun outsold Moon, Sword outsold Shield.
It never occurred to me, but Pokemon have an inbaked A/B testing for Pokemon design way before the internet was even a thing. See which exclusives drives sale, design future Pokemon more like that

Why's violet cheaper? I thought Violet is more popular?
Maybe it's just overseas.
When I went to pick up scarlet from the HN deal the only copies of violet i saw were rubberbanded together with scarlet
But then that's just where I live.
So ended up returning the copy from amazon as per amazon credit, otherwise there was returning fee $7. They cannot price match, as I had some product matched post purchase. Still feel like amazon is reasonable to deal with.

You cannot get the refund in cash as they will deduct certain amount as a shipping fee, but you can select the amazon credit option for the refund of full amount

Maybe worth it for this price. Game is horrible. Do not get your hopes up that you will fall in love with it. For every good feature, there is a very buggy one to counteract it

Someone at one of the stores said the pages were taken down "because there was a price issue with amazon" - not sure what they mean there though, as it looked like Amazon was price matching JB not the other way around. There's definitely still lots of stock in stores but it's ringing up for $69.00 (and advertised as $69.00 on their 5 day christmas sale that started today), so I'd put my money on a price error.
I think you are right, I had to show the staff the website as their price tag was showing $69 on site. The staff honoured it immidiately with no issue, but i was at 8:05 right after when the store was opened and in before page was down, so yeah price error I think.

Got Violet for cheap on the initial Amazon sale, figuring I could sell it for what I paid with ease if I didn't care for it. I did end up playing it through, but decided to sell it while I could still get $50 for it. Whacked on Marketplace, had a buyer in a minutes. So if you are on the fence, maybe get it and sell it if you don't like it?
JB says it was a price error after saying they never lowered it and it was a google error.
Finally admitted it was a marketing error which they have fixed.

Just had a live chat with JB Hi-Fi to try to get Pokemon Scarlet price matched with Amazon, didn't work on the first attempt as they said it must've been a price error on Amazon. Worked on the 2nd attempt and they sent a link to buy it at $49.
Wicked Wednesday Code (92WICKEDWED10) is still valid with a price match which brings it down to $44.10
Spent over an hour waiting on live chat, then it refreshed and no more live chat, called up JB Hi-Fi spoke to a polite but firm operator who told me that a) no longer matching Amazon Australia and b) Amazon no longer at $49. Checked at 5:30 and Amazon was showing $49 but obviously it changed in the last hour or so to $68. Massive waste of time and considering I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of products without issue (a MBP, TVs etc.) with JB this was handled poorly and leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Kicker is I saw it at 2am last night but said 'oh I can wait until after work' lol.
I saw it for $35.10 at 1am in the morning… did a click and collect straight away as it was a no brainer. Picked up without issue after work… the early worm gets the OzBargain.
