Also from the drop down on same page:

    Kogan 7-in-1 USB C Pass-Through Hub Pro with 4K 60Hz HDMI (Space Grey) $12.99

Edit: lots of negative reviews. Good luck if you buy.

    • +1

If its anything like the office work hubs, it will cease to function because its got too many ports and not enough power to run half of them.

Great now i juat need to buy $3k macbook pro

    • any bargain ?

      • Stack with gift card loops to make that free to you

  • +1

    probably itshay

    • Yup. Tried this a while back and doesn't stay plugged in very securely and kept slipping out.

  • +2

Wish I'd taken the time to read the reviews. Bought the 60hz model this morning for one of my tablets (which I'm not even sure it'll work on). Impulse buying sucks (and since I've been on OB, I think I've mastered the art of impulse buying!!!!

    • +1

Interesting. Should be the opposite - always read the comments before clicking through. It's where you find informed opinions on the deal (and possibly tips for even bigger discounts).

      • +5

Agreed … reading reviews (esp on here) have further developed my procrastination skills … soon, I should be ready to graduate with full honours :D
And yes, I know what I said completely contradicts my username, lol

    • I've never seen a tablet with 2 USB C ports, let alone 2 ports with the same distance as on MacBook Pro. I'm not sure about Ipad Pro. Do they have 2 USB-C ports?

No need read review just the store name you hear it you run away

  • +6

    Those reviews aren’t great.

    • +2

Well, the store name isnt great to begin….

    • thanks for sharing

    • +1

I gave it a try, it was delivered within a week to WA!
Works fine so far with MBP 2019 Intel.

    4K 30Hz HDMI

Also known as not really 4K. Unless it's 60Hz it's pretty useless for anything but signage.

    • +1

Goes 60Hz below 4K just fine.

      • Maybe i should reword that its pretty useless for a 4K screen.

        • Yes

        • +1

Nah, I understood you just fine. It's a valid point, I would never torture myself with a 30Hz Windows experience. Signage is the only use I could think of for a 4K 30Hz connection tho

For a guy who is a billionaire you would think that Kogan could afford to sell quality products instead of the rubbish I've bought and then returning anything is worse than the inquisition, send us a photo, send us another photo, send us more photos, etc. You go to Officeworks, if the item is broken they give you refund, end of story. I'd rather pay more than deal with Kogan. Not to mention all the emails they send you whenever you buy something and all the ropes you have to jump through to unsubscribe.

    • +5

Kogan is a billionaire because he serves people who want the cheapest price and don't think about other aspects of a purchase.

  • +4

"RRP $94.99" who are you kidding?

    • +2

      Tell 'em they're dreaming.

  • +1

Will this work with Microsoft Windows or does the firmware only support Mac?

    • +4

Do you have a Windows machine that has two equally distanced thunderbolt ports exactly like the Mac?

      • My Dell Latitude 7410 has 2x USB-C on the left hand side not sure if same distance as the Mac though.
Would like to know if it will work on my Dell.

  • You guys missed my comment. I said I didn't read the reviews, not the comments. Reading the comments is why I'm here. Trouble is I bought the item this morning, before this submission was posted. Agree wholeheartedly with reading O.B comments.

    • You can send a message to cancel the order if the item hasn't been sent out.

      • Yep. Did exactly that and got an automated email telling me to reply with 'Return' in the body, then about 20 minutes later, I got an email from an actual person telling me they will try to cancel my order and, if not, I can send it back when it comes. Go figure.

  • Worth a try with this price
Not much expectation from Kogan anyway

  • +1

Rule of thumb is buy now and research later, unless it’s Kogan, then it’s comments first.

  • +1

Well, even more fun trying to cancel an order. Appears the button to do so is missing. Sent them an email (which won't get responded to), so I'll do a reverse spam job and bombard them with emails until they do (worked last time). And, YES, lesson learned ('til the next one!).

  • +6

My mate had this hub. It was so wobbly it kept connecting and disconnecting his accessories. He fried two external hard drives because of that. It’s now in the bin. Good luck :)

    • Thanks for the info. Ordered and cancelled. Just realised i already have a Basues Hub unused ;)

  • Reviews saying doesn't work.

  • I would steer away from cheap hubs. Had a not even cheap one ($55 5-in-1) and it fried my original power cable and one of my USBC ports in my M1 MacBook Air that I bought in May this year. I will try to get it repaired on warranty but it's a real bummer as I would like to use this laptop for a couple of years.

  • Have a HP flip laptop that has two USBC/TB ports close together same side. Any know if this might fit/work?

  • Looks exactly like the office works one without the brand. I guess internals are different judging by the reviews.

  • Received it yesterday, doesn’t work on my MacBook Pro, dead on arrival , will ask for refund
