Thanks for post. Wonder how many will be repeats.

    • +9

Yeah this is turning out to be dull

    • +8

The day 10 game may be a repeat otherwise we should have a good run from here on.

    Thanks bot

  • Rinse and repeat

aren't epic just in the news this morning… for privacy breaches?

    • +1

Only where children are involved, you're probably safe if you don't have to nag your mum for her CC.

    • +7

Yes, they foolishly thought parents would monitor their children without the need of government interference. They have now learned their lesson, paid $500m in fines, and created "cabined" accounts for children.

      • Yeah it's an interesting one. I know some games/systems have more child friendly accounts/parental controls, but my understanding is those are games aimed at a more junior audience. I don't think a shooter really falls under that target audience, even if they do happen to be the actual audience. Do any other online FPS have these sorts of controls.

I agree that there should be just as much focus on parental involvement in the matter, but this does raise some intersting ethical questions moving forward.

I know a bunch of teachers, from various grades, and and ever increasing part of their job is now essentially parenting kids. It's really quite a worry.

        • +1

And when they DO parent these kids, the parents step in and complain that they disagree with how their child was disciplined, shamed in front of the class etc.
They expect them to be child psychologists as well

  • Ack. Missed yesterday!

    • +1

Don’t worry, if it’s like all the other recycled epic Xmas freebies, you probably already had it

      • +1

Nope, yesterday was the day with two new games!

        • Two?

It was just Them’s Fightin’ Herds as far as I know.

  • looks like a lego game tomorrow. any guesses which one?

  • +9

That crushing disappointment when you already own a free game. Thanks anyway OP.

    • +7

Just think of it as a nice reminder to actually download and play it, one of these days.

    • +9

      That pales in comparison to:

That crushing disappointment when you already bought the game and it's still in its wrapping.

      • +2

Damn, that hurts. I fear my shame pile will become a dumpster fire soon. Serenity now!

  • Great game, nice depth, robot dog still haunts me

  • dang it.. another repeat. Good for those who didn't claim it earlier.

  • +1

    paid for it.
had fun playing both reboots and the quirky sense of humour in the game

  • +1

Argh I paid $12 for this in 2015 from the Ubisoft store.

  • got this last year, played it quite a bit. it's a good game.

  • Cheers nice one dealbot! Appreciate the efforts :)

  • Damnit, missed this.
