  • Does this have an in-built KVM? So depending on input, it'll power multiple devices? The LG website doesn't mention it

    • +1

      I don't think so

    • KVM? do you mean USB hub??

      • Yeah, so you can have two USB-B downstream to device and whatever is plugged into screen goes to the device being displayed

    • I think the Gigabyte monitors are probably one of the very few that offer KVM.

    • +2

      I am using one.
      It does not KVM function.
It only has two USB-A ports at the back, which the monitor serve as a USB hub when you connect the USB-C cable to your computer.

For those after a cheaper refurb 27 inch 4K option:

    2 in stock now

    • OOS now.

    • Kept my eye on these for a while now but I can't ever seem to be notified and grab one in time :(

    • +1

Thank you for this, might have grabbed the last 2.

  • seems to be on sale at most retailers

Love that ergo stand it comes with. Still kicking myself for missing out on this Black Friday SE deal.

    • It really is great! Much better than the single monitor arm I was using previously with old monitor.

    • I wish they would put bigger Ultragear on them

  • +1

only downside is they are not the brightest monitors. if you need the HDR to really pop these wont cut it unfotunately

    • I have bought one in the last month and I have to agree with this.
I was using a single LG 27" UHD 27UK850, and now have them both side by side.
the 27" is much brighter, and I have to dial down the brightness on it to match the 32"

    Same price at Amazon

would rather buy from scorptec than from amazon, support local business

      • +1

I thought the same, but in future I would rather buy from Amazon than a local store. Easier to get a refund or replacement for a fault.

How are Scorptec with returns? Hope they are better than CPL.

CPL took my monitor with dead pixels for warranty, waiting for the manufacturer to look at it. Meanwhile am stuck without a monitor for weeks. Large corps will instantly refund or give a replacement, then they will deal with their supplier themselves, on their own time. Local business are a pain when you have a problem. Not worth it, even if cheaper.

You really have to pick the right store, had good experiences with umart, mwave and scorptec

    • Does the amazon ones come with the ergo stand?

      • +1

At the 31.5 size, yes. But cheaper at Scorptec.

The 27 doesn't come with an ergo stand as far as I can tell.

Hell of a premium for a USB-C port when USB-C supports the DisplayPort standard.

Unless you've only got a single USB port and need to turn your monitor into a hub, this is strange way to spend $600 in 2022.

  • Does it do 4k 120hz?PS5 use?

    • +1

      nope

    • Maybe you can take a look at TCL C735/C835 TV, they have HDMI2.1 and High Refresh Rate

    Officeworks price match

    • There is no the same model for the 32 inch one in officeworks nor JBhifi

  • Considering I bought a similar 27" 4k LG monitor in about 2015/2016 for around a similar price it is hard not to notice that LCD monitor price-performance ratio has really stagnated. Surely you would think there would be a reason to upgrade after 8 years but i am struggling to find one. We should expect local dimming, 120Hz, true HDR for these prices now. Tv's have come a long way in price/performance. Computer monitors seem like the same old specs from years ago for the same price
