any recommendations on which Blackvue to get?
Anyone have personal experience with the 900x plus and the app?
Heard really good things about these as barrel cameras (I know vifo is cheaper but want a barrel style) but also there’s a lot of negative comments about the app which kind of defeats the purpose if you can’t get the footage.
Iv had it now for about a year; overall it’s definitively worth it. Over the 2 years its not worked twice but by plugging it in and out its an easy fix. So really it just works; recommend tho sticking to the blackvue sd cards as others void the warranty. App works well not sure why people complain all my footage is there for both parking mode and driving mode. Iv opted for the larger sd card (256gb) and records about 3 days which has about 10 hours of driving footage (i drive alot) and all the parking footage when theres people who come close that activate the sensor for parking mode.
I have the 900S installed in mine and had the 900X installed on my family’s two other cars.
Works great! The app works fine albeit ugly but I have no issues at all obtaining footage from it.
Also it auto connecting to the cloud and uploading events is cool for when the car is at home.
thanks for the comments, I couldn't bring myself to get the Blackview SD card, just the 128gb card was an extra $130.
Blacukvues official website recommends Samsung Pro Endurance range but the staff at auto barn said the 900 series does not seem to work with them, online people have recommended Skandisk High Endurance, anyone got experience with either or another SD card that would be suitable?

Great info though, will go with the Samsung Pro Endurance 256 for $50 vs the Blackvue 128 the store suggested for $130 more
FYI, blackvue from autobarn had 25% off on ebay as well, could be benifit for cashback potientially, and use any ebay plus coupons you may have. also less delivery fee somehow.
i think its only ebay plus that gets free delivery as it shows a delivery fee for me

Give either of the stores a call and ask about installation .. From memory, both stores offer installation .. so it depends which one you are closer to :)

It has already started. Last night I bought the Blackvue 900x twin pack and the 4g LTE module for less than the full price of the Blackvue twin pack alone. Then I bought a twin pack of GME portable radios for the 4x4. Then I put the phone away to stop me buying more stuff… Happy.
Anyone have any recommendations for a dash cam for aconvertible car? Not sure how the 900x will hold up when the roof comes dowm

I’ve got a gerni, but I almost sold it off and bought a vyking force one because they’re quality is essentially the same, I could just get a giant one for the same price on staff!
