      Haha, yeah take the gamble and get a no name dashcam that fails to capture what you need in the event of a hit and run. Happened to me with a different dashcam.

          Well even the popular Viofo ones die as well. I've been through 2 I think. It's not even SD card corruption but the device itself stops working. Having said all of this, I'm pretty sure I'm using an AZDOME dashcam mirror at the moment lol. Works perfectly as a rear view mirror camera for my car that doesn't have a reversing camera and has a small rear window. So far it's doing better than my Viofo

        Yeah true. I make sure my toilet seat is made by a no spyware guaranteed brand/country too. These people have to learn that Aussie bowel movement data is very sensitive and a major security concern.

        you picked none SD card? try the 64GB SD card option. It somehow accept shipping to me with that option but non SD card option does not. Granted, you paid 10$ more for the Sd card.

      Viofo A119 v3. Just routing the power cable to a USB port/cigarette plug if you don't want recording while parked.

          Had one for over a year, and it's been in scorching 40 degree heat including a time when it was left above a sun shade. No problems here and I really don't think a cheaper dashcam would have more heat-resistant plastics.

            @Techie4066: Same, have had my A119 v2 for over 5 years without issue. Regularly parked in direct sun during the day.

            When it does die I'll be looking for another Viofo.

    I've got a cheap capacitor dashcam and it's not great. If the memory card is full and the capacitor loses charge from not driving for a couple of weeks, the time/date resets to 01/01/2017 and it starts overwriting the newest video because it thinks it's the oldest. Would this be any better?

    Be aware with this brand.
    I bought azdome m550 which is the lasted model. it randomly recorded the video which means u may lose some important parts during ur driving. I already returned.

    This is the 凌度 Brand in Chinese if you ever wanna search up in Taobao or Chinese websites.

    I have them installed on all of my cars, they work just fine. It does run out of battery pretty fast and have to reset date/time manually though. However, you won't have this problem if you are using parking mode (connected to fuses).

    I have a 1296P version and the camera is great to me at least for this price.

    Got mine today and installed it for my partner. Build seems pretty good but it seems like the camera is sightly favouring the left side? I had to move the camera to the right side of the mirror but the footage shows more of the left side instead of the right. Is that normal?
