Good deal.
Cue one negative comment saying it is easier to wash windows with a cloth.
Enjoy

  • Thanks, trying this since the Karcher one I got on BF sales was quite rubbish.

    • +1

I got both. They are both pretty much the same. No noticeable performance improvement one over the other as far as I could tell.

    • How is it different to the Karcher you have?

  • +1

Kogan has something similar for 1/3 cost, not sure if it’s worth a try https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-window-vacuum-cleaner/?ut…

    • Can't comment if the advertised product is any better — I have one of these Kogan ones and it does what it does, but it's far from amazing. Like a crappy squeegee, attached to a small reservoir. Sounds like a cheap hair dryer too.
I do use it during winter, as it does the job.

If you want to try out a $25 window vacuum to see if it's for you, by all means by it.

FWIW, I paid $40 for it mid 2021. I don't recall it being on sale then.
Additional side note, the included spray bottle thing is complete crap, and barely worked properly before failing.

It's easier to wash with a cloth…if your windows is small and not really dirty. For large & out facing windows, this one works a magic. Use diluted dish washing & rub it with a sponge and the vacumm will does the rest with less effort than a cloth.

  • Have the karcher and this, both average and leave streaks, still need to finish off with a cloth, easier on the arms overall though.

  • So for dirty windows do i need to/should I pressure wash first then use this?

    • +1

Sponge and dish washing will do.

  • Is this any good for glass pool fencing?

FFS, stop being a bunch of babies using this useless rubbish.

For $40 you can get a decent kit like this.

Watch a 5 minute YouTube video for technique.

Within 10 minutes you'll be cleaning windows like a pro. Your results will be streak free and take 1/3rd of the time using this deals crap.

    Thank me later babies.

Stop being a (profanity) with your $40 kit. A bucket, squeegee, piece of cloth can be had for under $10 at iKea.

    • I see this product as a quick way to keep window glass free of water beads rather than a cleaner itself. Like car windows after a wash and shower glass. This product definitely has its place

      • That's called a chamois. Trust me, this device is useless landfill for lazy people.

        • I have a chamoi that never completely dries and it gets annoying.

Correction, it is landfill for non lazy people. Lazy people like me love devices like this :D

    • Cleaning like a pro will take longer than 10 minutes learn.

Yep. 10 minutes. It's all technique. You will be great at it after 10 minutes and awesome after 20 minutes. Look at the calibre of your average window cleaner. It ain't rocket surgery

        • +1

Not sure what "rocket surgery" is and I wonder what window cleaners think when you talk of their "calibre"?

  • Can you use this to clean shower screen?

This thread turned out as predicted

    • What was the prediction, again?
