Picked up one of these this afternoon and it sounds excellent and works brilliantly with Sound Sync on my old LG plasma (no ARC). Seems like they usually go for closer to $500 (if the current HN price is to be trusted).

  Does your soundbar display turn off?
  My LG s75q doesn't have this feature! My Samsung soundbar from 5 years ago has this feature. I can't believe the engineers at LG didn't think of this!

    Nope, it just dims. Can see that being extremely annoying in a bedroom.
