Was looking for 10TB NAS drive as I kept missing the deals today and found this was just discounted and hasn't been picked by 3C & Disk Prices.

  • Thanks for posting. Ended up getting 2 x 14tb drives for $670.

  • Recommended drives?

    • +1

I've got 4 in my NAS at home. They're quiet and perform well.

  • Could I use one of these Red NAS drives for my Snapraid drive in my HP N54L microserver? I know Snapraid drive has to be equal or larger than the NAS size. Or could I use a non-NAS 'ordinary' HDD for Snapraid?

  • Thanks
Also 3 left when I just ordered

  • Mine arrived today, and linux Disks can identify it, but can’t format it. GParted can’t see it. Windows is slowly booting, and the disk is making loud noises as Windows tries to probe it and fails. It stops my Windows disk booting, just by being plugged in! In a USB dock its not visible at all. I think its DOA. I ordered 2, they sent them separately and didn’t give me the 5% discount. This one will go back to Amazon.
