      I want to know as well. I have purchased few hundred but haven't redeemed it. Do if i go to new country and redeem there, can i use it? Uber website isn't very clear about that but talks about the global nature of the uber credit.

        There are some gift card limitations:

        Redeemed gift cards can only be spent in countries that accept payment in the same currency that was originally issued.

    Hey TA,

    Great deal. But is there any way for future deals that they could allow multiple purchases per transaction? or at least the same discount on $100 gift card? It takes ages to keep clicking through to buy multiple gift cards. And with each purchase you get 3 seperate emails.

        Yeah, you can do multiple transactions no issue. But each transaction you can only purchase 1 gift card. So if you want to buy the full $500 worth, you have to go through the check out 10 times and receive 30 emails.

          It's a piss poor customer experience by CR/TR how they have set up these gift cards

          Their customer experience and most of their deals are rubbish compared to ShopBack these days

          This is a good deal with poor execution (30 emails and 10 transactions required to purchase $500 worth).

    Can you confirm if the Uber and UberEats credits can be used interchangeably on the same account?

    Eg $50 UberEats credit can also be used for Uber rides, if both accounts are linked?

    Can you also confirm if one can buy 10 x $50 Uber credits in one transaction ($500 cap) instead of 10 individual transactions?

      Seems like (from looking in both my apps) it is available on both, just gets added to 'Uber Cash' in your 'Wallet' not Uber Eats or Uber specifically. So thats good :).

      Yes … you can use the credit for Uber ride. I have plenty of UE credit courtesy of work, and when i booked for ride, it used that pool of funds. It's generic Uber credit

        Not usually once they are added to the account. Eg Amazon, Apple etc once they are added to your account they never expire.

    Is anyone having trouble adding their Uber gift cards? Bought 10. First 9 worked but last one kept saying "Try again" and now when you click the add gift card option nothing happens.

      It seems Uber (and others) impose a daily quantity/value limit when adding cards. There’s comments in other posts that waiting 24 hours allows the 10th to be added. See here as an example. Cheers.

        It's a quantity limit with Uber, includes failed attempts (already redeemed / invalid codes).

        9 codes and then you get limited.

        It's less than 24 hours but I'm not sure exactly how long.

        Also of note, there's a maximum Uber cash balance of $500.

      from my experiences with ebay amazon etc, yes.
      GC is basically = cash. its method of payment. nothing to do with any other discount voucher coupon etc.
      its same as saying you want to pay by paypal, or credit card, or giftcard.

        I must have missed something. I have the 6mth MasterCard uber 1 and when I tried booking using uber cash as a payment method, there is no discount shown in the booking. I had to switch to the MasterCard account and it shows 10% off. Happy to be corrected and there's a better way to do it

    No thanks. Uber would still be making a handsome profit even with 20% off.

    I'd rather pay the restaurant directly for delivery, even if it costs more because I know that what I'm paying is what they're getting, and the delivery driver should be getting a reasonable wage.

    I'm all for Ozbargain, but won't support Ozslavery.

    Great deal!

    Just a reminder you can actually use the Uber/Uber Eats gift cards to pay for previous trips/meals (placed within the last 2 weeks I believe?)

    Go to your ride/order history, select "Receipt" for the transaction, then "Switch Payment Method". Select "Uber Credits", confirm, and then you're done!

    You then get refunded to your original payment method.

    It'd be a great deal if the website worked. Tried to link a card and it double charged the test transaction. Two codes and put in the wrong one apparently. Now it doesn't show any payment options on any platform. Great experience.

    Edit: The help query sends it to a person out of office. Keeps getting better. It's funny at least.
