TA's Tracking Tips:

  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave and close any additional browser tabs.
  • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Postpaid & prepaid SIMs must be activated within 30 days of purchase. Postpaid SIMs must remain active for at least 90 days after activation to be eligible for cashback. No retention period is required for pre-paid SIMs after activation.
  • Cashback is ineligible on all other (unlisted) plans, business plans, recharges, upgrade services, additional postpaid plans, add-ons, mobile broadband, prepaid handsets, and tablets.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any gift cards, vouchers, or store credit for partial or full payment. Cashback is also ineligible on purchase of any gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • For prepaid plans, cashback is calculated on the purchase price.
  • Cashback is paid once per transaction, regardless of the number of plans purchased on that order.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • Accept and allow all 3rd party cookies on the retailer's page if requested.
  • Return to TopCashback to click the 'Get Cashback' button for each new transaction.
  • Transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted or negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

Vodafone have doubled their network coverage.

Our new regional network will cover 98.4% of the Australian population. You will immediately have access to nearly one million square kilometres of coverage, including 5G in areas where it is already available.

  • When does offer ends?

    • +3

I've added the expiry of 3rd Nov which is when the $199 offer ends. Will check with the TCB rep on the cashback expiry and update.

      • +1

        Ah thanks!

      • +1

Would be good to know. Thanks

        • +2

@mbck @Avalanche The rep TA has confirmed that cashback ends on 3rd Nov 11:59pm AEDT as per my post.

  • +2

Should I be waiting for Black Friday deals? I still have amaysim and boost cash back deals open.

    Deep thinking…

    • +1

Back in Mar this year, there was a $169 with 30% cashback deal. It was decent.

      • +2

That would have been the $250 (200GB or equiv) plan. No international calls with that one. Only texts.

        • Damn wish that one would come back around. Don't need international calling or the extra 100GB.

    • I would (assuming your current sim won't expire before then) - you'll likely get prices that amount to this one after cashback, but also on a better network i.e optus or telstra.

  • +1

holy shit if this tracks it's one hell of a bargain. Thanks OP

    • Please refer to the tracking tips in the post before you proceed 😊

    Kogan Out-Koganed by Vodafone

  • +5

Hate that there is always activation within 30 days.
Mine isn’t due until next year.

    • +2

In the same boat, I don't have a need for next 6 months

    • Second that. Just got 6 months on Telstra. But voda is better here and I would take this if I could sign up in 6 months (or a time machine for yesterday).

    • -1

      Not with shopback

      • ShopBack has the same 30 day T&Cs as terms are from Vodafone:

        Copied from SB/Vodafone:

Activate the SIM card within 30 days of purchase.

        • +1

Mate i activated after 4 months no worries and also got my cashback fine. And the cashback came through before i even activated the SIM

  • Bonus data offer expires 3/11!!

  • ShopBack had one like 30% plus $20 from westpac. The net is just over $100 . That was good.

    • +1

That was a good offer in Aug. It was for a different plan i.e. $250 220GB which doesn't include international calls. This plan includes international calls.

  • Hi op! How long does it take roughly from purchase to pay out?

    • It takes about 15 minutes for topcashback to recognize it. If not, you can select the "Missing cashback?" function on the topcashback website. You can go to the earnings section and select the Start a claim button.

  • +1

Stillngot 3 months on Optus so 30 days activation kills the deal for me

  • +1

Great price for 12 months including int calls

  • I think I'll be grabbing this. Voda works fine for me.

  • +1

Looks great - I’m already with Voda so do I need to port out then back in for this one, and if so any idea of timeframe for that?

    • +1

When you receive the new Voda SIM card, you would port out to another provider e.g. $2 Telstra SIM (don't need to recharge Telstra). Then port back into the new Voda SIM with your existing number. Porting in and out usually doesn't take too long e.g. within an hour (unless there are issues). Choose a business day and not the weekend when you port.

  • +1

Good deal, but this one has no international texts?

    • Looking at the CIS and appears it doesn't. Seems quite odd as the other plans include 50

      • +2

Yeah seems stingy they don't just do unlimited calls+texts to XX countries like amaysim or lebara instead of 6000 minutes for a normally $300 plan.

  • My current 1 year prepaid Optus SIM doesn't expire until end of Dec.

    • For 2024 I used the $100 Vodafone SIM from Costco (1 year, ~260GB data from memory).
    • For 2025 I'm using the $120 (after cashback) Optus SIM (1 year, ~280GB data).

I'm wondering they'll be a another deal for a 1 year prepaid SIM for =<$120 before the end of the year? Several years ago I would only use Boost, but now I find the coverage across all three telcos (telstra, optus, voda) to be adequate in urban areas. If I'm going rural for any reason (e.g. holidays/weekends away) and need the extra coverage, I'll usually just purchase a Boot SIM (e.g. when the cash backs are on) and use as a secondary SIM for data (miss the Boost cash back profit days).

    • mine has 94 days left, i just ordered this and will active it after a few days before the month ends. oh well if I wasted some money I think its worth it

  • +1

so if I buy now and activate after the 3/11, do i still get the bonus data?

    • +1

keen to know this as well looking to activate end of nov

  • +1

Thanks OP. Ordered two in separate transactions, as per the instructions, both tracked within 10 minutes.

My annual is due for renewal in Nov (Amaysim) and am getting kiddo a sim for the first time for data and a list of approved contacts.

I was looking at this one and a couple of others, Vodafone works best in my house. With Cashback this is the cheapest I have seen.

  • +1

Just bought one and apparently scheduled for delivery today.
"Thanks for choosing Vodafone. You should receive your order on 31/10/2025."

    • Same. Just purchased and got the same delivery date of today. Hope it does so can port today as it's the last day of my billing period. Or I'll just do towards end of next month before the 30 days.

    • Received email it has been dispatched with anticipated delivery date of 05/11/2025.

      • Yep same.

Did think today was abit ambitious.

Edit. Looks like won't get the bonus 80gb as need to activate by 3/11

  • Is there an option for esim? It seems to default to a physical shipment.

    • I didn't see it. Only for delivery.
Was hoping for esim to activate straight away.

    • +2

For such offers, you have to activate using the SIM they send, and then move into eSIM from your active service. happy to be proven wrong though.

  • +1

    Mine tracked after about 5mins

    • mines still not tracked, i should of used the app.

  • Has anyone tried Wi-Fi calling while roaming overseas on Vodafone? I thought only Telstra and its MVNOs can work

    • Keen to know as well

  • +1

Mine tracked at $59.70 in about 15 mins.

  • +1

    I got it. Thanks.

  • -2

some reason i thought this was for boost mobile not vodafone. pass

    • +2

Boost Mobile cashback is posted here but not at this price.

  • Does cashback usually includes GST? Or depends on the vendor?

    • Cashback usually excludes GST. With Vodafone, cashback includes GST.

  • So to get the bonus data you don't need to activate by the 3/11 that's just when the offer ends…right?

    • +1

but you need to activate it before or on 30 days after your purchase to be eligible for the cashback.

    • +3

      That's what I assumed.

Also set up auto renew and you should get an extra 100GB. Then once that arrives turn off auto renew. Have done that with my prior 12 month Voda sim

    • +1

  • I was with vodafone some years back it was not good then.
Some people are claiming that vodafone has improved a lot.
So, confused should I go with them?
I am confused among vodafone vs optus vs telestra (yes there is price difference even with the sales but little confused)

    • Don't need to be confused. It depends on your locations. Best way to test is to buy a Vodafone 28-day SIM that is $8 (after cashback). If you haven't already, do the same with 28-day Telstra or Boost and Optus. Please see my comment here.

      • thanks for the prompt response.
almost in CBD so for everyday use any services should be fine but yes, for some of the services, when you may be try to do some Facebook live, internet surfing or when you are in some highway or somewhere in some shopping malls in some suburbs or places internet is almost unusable. That is what i am bit concerned or confused as they are 360 days plan. The concern is which maybe better for anywhere use.

  • +1

Thanks OP, bought. My Optus prepaid is expiring in 44 days so will lose 2 weeks. Happy with this price for another year.

Edit: Cashback tracked in 3 minutes. I use the Chrome extension and it works a treat every time, worry-free.

  • Which one is better option? This one or "$45 Cashback on amaysim $199 12-Month 320GB". Any suggestions, thanks a lot

    • +1

One calls 000, the other doesn’t.

  • So need to port in by 3 Nov the last day to get the bonus data?
I think voda still need us to reply the confirmation sms before the porting. Need an active service to do so.

  • How are you supposed to get the 300GB (220GB + 80G bonus data) data when by the time the sim arrives it will be after the 3rd November. Kind of crapens the deal

    • I'm gonna hit up their online chat after I port in to bring this to their attention. Especially when I got a copy of my order to say that Sim will be delivered today.
Not sure if I'll get anything out of it but never know

      • +2

I just spoke to their live chat. They confirmed that as long as you buy the sim prior to 3/11 then you will receive the bonus data.

  • Thanks OP

  • For iOS device, for Chrome browser, is it true that we have to do the other way around by allowing “Allow Cross-Website Tracking”?

  • Very long wait to receive cashback. My account says estimated payable on 31st March 26.

    • I don't think that is accurate. Estimated payable is usually reported in number of weeks. The TCB app is showing as number of weeks and is probably more accurate. TCB is aware of the discrepancy. Please check again next week.
