The only problem is no backlight on this keyboard

    • I was going to mention the same thing for being a 'TV Keyboard' but I guess it would drain the battery faster (Runs on 2x AA Battery).

    • Is there a backlit version?

      • +1

Next model up has backlight - Logitech K830 (might be discontinued now).

        • I have k830 and it always drops connection. Switched to k600 but hate that round touch pad. Switched back to k830 (have both versions of k830 too). Pretty much both keyboards are average. But haven't looked for a better alternative for a tv keyboard yet

          • @Sammyboy: i used to have the k830 but i found the touchpad terrible. I upgraded to the microsoft all-in-one media keyboard and found it much better. The range is only just good enough for my loungeroom but I am quite far from the PC and TV. works with linux no worries.

        • I have this one, K830, it's amazing but so used now, wouldn't mind buying a new one, though I don't think they still it anymore?

I wish there were similar ones for left handed :(

    • Are there left handed version for the vertical Logitech mouse?

      • Don't think so.. keen to know it as well

        • Sounds like Logitech are mostly run by right handed people. Is lefties really that rare?

          • @htc: Well that makes 2 of us :)

            • @mkh1991: Logitech should change the name to Rogitech.

Yeah no backlight isn’t ideal. Still works okay.

What I struggle with is that the volume keys often get digitally stuck. So my show either mutes itself or blasts out at full volume which is infuriating.

  • I would rather get a mini bluetooth keyboard… a size of a palm… with backlight, rechargeable battery and much cheaper as well.

    • any link? got tired using google chromc with tv remote to type something when searching on youtube

      • May not suit everyone but i have 2 of this
They work just fine for me… but waste a usb slot for dongle

        • hmm so for using it with Chromecast with google tv, i need to get a hub, right? to plug the dongle.
can i just plug the dongle to the TV's usb? there is spare

          • @CyberMurning: I plug directly to the tv usb slot… it works just fine for me… tested on sony 2018 and samsung 2014 tv model

            • @thomalfa: but where are you typing? also inside Chromecast with google tv ? or the tv own interface?

              • @CyberMurning: Tv interface… i had a chromecast but never use on google tv

It works well for prime, paramount, youtube and disney+ app

        • This looks pretty good. Could just get a usb hub if you need more ports

        • These work well, otherwise the rii mini x 1 are good. Been using mine since someone had them $2 back in the day for the Russian version (with English keys)

  • Oos

  • Back in stock.

I got the MK470, not sure which is better.

    • +1

Totally different things. If you’re at a desk then the mk470 is nicer just because the keys are spaced better and I always prefer a mouse over a trackpad.

  • How does this compare with the Kmart one?

  • so pretty, but heavy compare with my K400, and K400R
