            @WhyAmICommenting: usually run at 55/70 on our old dishwasher, but my parter was quite upset with the aftersmell/taste that we decided not to keep using them.

            I am not saying they are a bad product, our dishes were definitely clean and dried nicely without much moisture sticking to them and would get them if they were odorless

          Interesting. I have never found that. Could also be the rinse aid as this is the last stage of the wash.

            There is no rinse aid in Fairy. We also stopped using Fairy because of the after taste odour issue.

              @c9: I was asking if it could have been from the rinse aid dispensed from the reservoir, separate from the tablet. But it does appear there are many here who experience post wash odour/taste with Fairy. I have been provided some premium Finish Tablets with a BOSCH Series 6 I bought last week so I can try out to see the difference.

    Great cheap alternative for anyone that missed out, or wants a great price all year around.
    Not sure how they compare to the Fairy ones, but they've always worked perfectly fine for me over the many years.

    Finish dishwashing Classic 110pk - $16.75. Normal price $18.00.

    On occasion you can find the powerball version at The Reject Shop for a similar price.

      They are ok, I use them when I can't get some of the better quality ones. But they are definitely big step down from Fairy platinum.

      PS: will probably have to buyy some of them if I can't catch one of these deals in the next few weeks before they are sold out.

    Dont fee bad if you missed out, here is a better bargain.
    Fairy Platinum Plus Expert was close to the Choice recommendations,
    however this one is cheaper and was no.2 recommended by Choice (at Aug.2022)

      Also, Fairy failed the sustainability evaluation, e.g. ethical rating of manufacturer, phosphate free claims, cruelty free claims, septic safe claims and specify made in Belgium.

      we just switched from Finish to the Aldi Logix Platnium based on the Choice review. They seem pretty decent so far, and cheap ($8.19 at my local Aldi @ 20.5c/wash )

        Another vote for the Aldi ones, I don't see any difference performance wise compared to the generally more expensive brands.
