When I realised what bargain this is, there was only the classic available. I got 3.
I find them pretty comfortable
Why are they closing down?
These were the thing a decade ago.
at $80 a pair its no wonder this is the way they are going..
i learnt about TOMS as a case study in business school and they absolutely desecrated the african footware economy. their philosophy was 'buy one pair, we'll donate a pair', and the company flooded the local market with free shoes to 'help the unfortunate'. i guess that included the local merchants and small business owners because they all went bankrupt as a result.
anyways, their business is currently in serious decline and on the verge of collapse.
