470

Just noticed that it is on sale for $4.50 at nintendo store (when using Nintendo Switch), i am not sure why it is showing $13.99 when checking via laptop.

Steps:

  • Go to Nintendo e-shop on Nintendo Switch
  • Go to Nintendo e-shop
  • Search for "Snow Bros"

It will show the price of $4.50.

God I loved this game as a kid at the Fish and chip shop.

For me, it was at the entrance of Tuckerbag when mum was paying, and next to the glorious smelling red and green cordial fountains.

    • It's a must have especially at this price. A lot of memories as kid.

Not the sort of game that requires a review. You either have nostalgia for this game and want it, or you do not. I purchased it when last on sale for $9.00 a few months ago and have no regrets…. wouldn't pay the full $22.50 for it though.

'Look, there's no way to sugarcoat it — Snow Bros. wasn't worth bringing back. It's pretty much a D-grade arcade game with no interesting hook, and no amount of gussying it up can disguise that. "

        I can say whole heartedly…

        phuqq this guy

        snow brothers is awesome

you had to be there when it was in the arcades to understand it fully

    • Ignore that review.

If you used to play it as a kid at the arcades or on consoles its well worth the nostalgia.

I quite enjoyed it and well worth it at this price.

  • I always thought this was by same developer as bubble bobble. It's not; so hopefully it will encourage a price drop for the overpriced switch version of bubble bobble.

    • Surprising there is no Taito collection on the Switch that has this…. also Rainbow Islands too would be nice.

Oh well, if you want the handheld experience of these, there are plenty of other handheld retro consoles that can play them…. Thanks Anbernic & friends.

I grabbed this last week for the same price. Game play is identical to the original game. Updated graphics look nice. Downsides are, it runs slow and glitched after each boss is defeated, Sometimes it doesn't respond to button presses when there is a lot happening on the screen. Other than that, well worth $4.50, but not full price. Finished it in 1 sitting all thanks to unlimited continues.

  • DLC also 70% off. You get to be a monster hunting the snow bros. No idea if any good.

So… anyone bought it from this sale and can report what it's like?
Only found one review on youtube and it was not very positive.
