My mechanic is charging me $850 to replace 2 lower control arm bushers and 2 bump stops on a Nissan Pulsar 2005.
Am I Getting Ripped off on Nissan Pulsar Repair?

Just bushings and it doesn't include wheel alignment.

Nice find. That's a huge difference compared to what is suggested above.

Yeah not sure why the OP didn't include it in their post. But it's definitely their Reddit post.

And an unsecured bull bar on a 2005 Pulsar?
WTF?

Not really?

Love the 6 dotted lines in the reddit post, with some dot points having multiple items but OP only put 2 items in the OZB post…..

Wow you have alot of free time it seems lol

33% off @OzBargain.

Woohooo

And now OP has deleted their post on Reddit …

Why do you care?

Not my car buddy

Looks ok, some labor required on those items.
Your car sounds like a death trap.

Hmmm yeah nah

Your car sounds like a death trap.

You sound like a deathtrap buddy

*Also should probably just get a new car if the reddit post is anything to go by.

I upvoted him and I'm not Drakesy…or am I???

You are just a troll like him

Lol,
You think i care about my Ozbargain rank enough to do that.
Yeah I do actually

Ah here comes old drakesy again reporting all my posts rofl

You are the biggest troll on ozb lmao

lol
Someone's holding a grudge

You bought a Nissan pulsar with 225,000km on it that needed decent repairs. For an inflated price in today's market I think you already got ripped off.

Wouldn’t care less bud

Looks laboursome, OK with those items
Your deathtrap sounds like a car
Seems like you are the deathtrap

A lot of labour in that job there may be.
Deathtrap your car is.

Deathtrap you are

Have you considered a dance-off with your mechanic to resolve this?

Already did bud

The discussion has deteriorated, comments are now closed.
How many hours labour is the mechanic quoting?
Does it include a wheel alignment?
New lower control arms or just the bushings?
To replace bump stops you need to drop the suspension from its top mounts. Can be time consuming.
