Australia’s first ever 24-hour desexing marathon will be held at Frank Samways Veterinary Clinic on January 13!!
During the marathon, our vets will desex cats and kittens from the community and our shelter which is currently almost at capacity with overwhelming numbers of felines coming into our shelters. This is largely due to too many cats and kittens left undesexed in our communities creating thousands of lost and abandoned animals.
To ease the burden in the community we have a number of limited spots for the public to have their cats and kittens desexed for a significantly reduced flat fee of just $80, which is 65 per cent of the normal cost.

Description
The Lost Dogs' Home are offering heavily discounted cat desexing for just $80 for both female and male cats. Microchipping, flea & worm protection will also be included.
Cats must be in good health and aged between 9 weeks and 8 years of age.
Spaces are limited to three cats per household.

Discharge times: Between 13th Jan 10:00am - 6:30pm
IMPORTANT:
Drop off time will be allocated once you have purchased a ticket.
You must be available the entire day on 13th January to collect your cat post surgery. As soon as we call you to collect your cat, you must be able to attend within 1 hour.
If your cat is not yet microchipped, you must pre purchase a microchip source number prior to the event: Home - Pet Exchange Register (animalwelfare.vic.gov.au) PLEASE NOTE: If you do not have a source number, we cannot microchip your cat.
