Kilikanoon 2019 Prodigal Grenache

One of our favourite red wines for summer.

Lifted aromas of dark cherries, potpourri, subtle smoky oak notes and marzipan feature strongly on the nose.

A fresh and lively palate, yet dark and brooding at the same time, the combination of ripe cherries, dark chocolate, kitchen spices and kirsch perfectly in sync with the fine chalky tannins and oak influences rounding out to a long flavour-some finish.

  I mean it's the cheapest I can see but $40 is misleading. It's $27-$30 at lots of other places so small saving here.

      Nobody with half a brain would buy form the cellar door and pay that price.

      Paying any more than $30.00 and you have not done any research.

      Google has you at $30.00. Was that the price before the current discount was put in place?

      At $150 for 6 delivered I will give it a fly.

      Update: Glad I waited a while before hitting the checkout - now $147 for 6 incl delivery and my cart had updated.

  Following purchase there is an email offer of $59.00 for 3 bottles of secret wine club reds delivered (normally $79?). Can anyone comment on what the "secret" offering is likely to be like?
