  • not bad :)

  • awesome deal. Just paid $70 for skinnys from Just Jeans. Spewin!

  • good deal. but still waiting for my order dispatched on 10 July

    • It's been 5 days, meaning it's probably getting sea freight?

      • +1

We send it via international air post, so it will usually take 2-3 working days to clear customs and enter the Australian Post system - then from there it depends on where in Australia you are. It should be with you early this week.

We're about to introduce a new courier method that should be up and running before the end of the month - then our delivery times should be within 4 days.

The deal will be running until the end of next week so the price won't change - but we sold through a number of jackets quite quickly last week so sizes may run out of stock.

  • IFD NEIGHBOURS CHECK LONG SLEEVE FLANNEL SHIRT
Any chance there is one medium?

    • Hey there, check now :)

  • Anybody know any codes for a further discount?

  • Hey Daviid - we don't really have too many discount codes that work on stuff that is already marked down. If you sign up to our newsletter and give us a few details we will give you a 20% discount code off full priced product - but that won't change the price of these jeans unfortunately!

  • +1

The extra 20% discount code doesn't seem to work for anything I add to my cart

    • Unfortunately it will only work on FULL PRICE product. Anything that is marked down or is in a promotion will not be discounted further.

If you're noticing that it's not working on full priced product fire us a screenshot to [email protected] and we'll sort it for you :)

  • +2

Rep, do you have any relaxed fit jeans? I'm not into skinny jeans

    • Hey there, we do however they'll be added first thing tomorrow morning. I'll let you know once they're up!

      • Hopefully you do some specials for them too ;)

      • Also any jeans with a length of 34?

        • Hey there, all of our jeans have a length of 33 inches so they should cater for taller people. it's always easier to take jeans up than to lengthen them!

        • Last time I had to give them up to family members. :( If those were 33 then I am doomed. :(

      • +1

        Which ones are relax fit?

  • how long does the sale last?

    • +1

Hey there, the sale will run until the end of the week - see expiry date on the deal :)

  • I'm a 34 in Country Road jeans/chinos. Any idea to what size I would translate to in your brand? I'm looking for fitted but not skinny. Cheers

    • Hey there, i'd go with our size 34 slim :)

  • only four of those styles are on sale…but i guess the 2 for 100 is still pretty good compared to what we can get here

    • there is 5 at the moment, however we're looking at more that we can add! Will keep you posted

      • that would be good

  • When did it become hallenstein brothers?

It's making me homesick, hallensteins is where mum used to buy my school uniforms lol.

    • +1

The company name has always been Hallenstein Brothers Ltd - it's been that way since 1873! However, a couple of years ago we rebranded to include the word Brothers in our logo :)

  • To the REP you should mention your sales you got some really nice jackets there on huge sales!

    • Cheers! We posted the jackets deal here last week and got an incredible response, so we're following it up with some of our other deals

  • +4
    • Haha thanks for the heads up - we should get that changed - even though it does provide a bit of entertainment!

  • Hallensteins is definitely replacing Asos as my favourite impulse purchase site haha.

  • I'm going to Auckland today. Are these offers In-store as well?

    • Yup, they're in all of our stores :)

  • Stag In The Mix Chinos

Any chance of there being more of these in size 97?

    • hey there, check now :)

  • Regarding the sizes, what is the difference between size 34R and 34?

    • R probably means relaxed but wait for someone to confirm.

      • Hey there - the R stands for Regular length - do you have a link to the product that you're seeing this on? This option is usually only available on the Levi's as they have a few different lengths.

  • Great Deal. Just grabbed a pair of jeans. Thanks

  • Is the 20% coupon still available? I just registered on the site and didn't seem to recieve one!

    • Hey, probably too late but here is a heads up.
I closed the pop-up first visit coupon thing straight away as well, and you need to pop in your email address in THAT window to get the first visit 20% code.
I registered as well, didn't get it, thought that I must have buggered up and missed it - BUT:

      • If you use Chrome, start a private browsing session (not sure if other browser's private session, incognito, etc works, only used Chrome).
      • Open Hallenstein's website in that, you'll get the first visitor pop-up.
      • Enter your email address in there, follow the prompts, etc. You should get your 20% off full priced items code.

I did this with the SAME email address I had already used to sign-up, and popped it straight into my 'shopping cart' window I already had open and got the discount off full priced items. May work for you!

  • Received my jacket - quality is pretty appalling.

This is akin to what you would get at kmart/lowes. You really do get what you pay for

    • What's so bad about it?

    • Well if you didn't know, Hallensteins is a budget conscious shop in NZ, a bit better than K-Mart quality but yeah its a place to get cheap stuff, like $200 suits. Not sure why it is so popular here on OZB - is it thought to be an up market brand here?

      • I think it is that it is a little exotic. Like an NZ version of Next in the UK or GAP in the US, shops that are just routine for locals but offer something a little different to the kmart/bigw/target/myer options here.
Certainly I like getting my clothes from places where I know I won't be wearing the exact same shirt as somebody else, for example.

  • Got my jeans today, took about 8 working days. Great price and they seem to be good.

  • Hey, good to see a rep taking questions.
I got my chinos about 6 calendar days after I ordered. Like the fit and they feel like good quality so I ordered a second pair in another colour.
They arrived in 5 days. Top marks for promptness and free postage.
