    Unlimited antibiotic cover…

    • And a free subscription to the not-hotdog app….

      • Apparently if consumed from the wrong end there's a knob on each end…

  • Check your credit card if it comes with complimentary insurance. Some CBA cards has complimentary insurance, all you need to do is apply through netbank and it takes just 15 mins.

  • Covermore would be one.

Although this randomly popped up in google… so read the PDS

If you've already left home and are on your trip, this cover is subject to a 3-day no-cover period

    • Yeah I believe most have some sort of cooling-off period (up to maybe 14-21 days before travel?). Best check this part closely.

  • Freely https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/741273 with Promo Code SUMMER20 for 20% Off.

  • I have settled on Allianz .. previously used TID for years.

  • Padded underwear in case you Bangkok.

Ive used SCTI in the past. Affordable and easy process making claim for laptop years ago.
I usually just use the complementary insurance from my credit card for places like bangkok. Medical aid there is world class and very affordable so swlf pay for small stuff and keep the insurance on hand for anything catastrophic.

You’re going all the way to Thailand and only visiting Bangkok?

I was recently in SE Asia with the family. We went with Southern Cross travel insurance. Unfortunately one of the family ended up in hospital and Southern Cross were good to deal with and we didn't pay anything on our end (not even excess).

    • what happened?

      • They couldn't work it out in the end. It was suspected Typhoid although tests in the end for that came back negative. Basically really bad fever for 3 - 4 days. Not the best thing to happen on a holiday!

  • Heading to Vietnam tomorrow and purchased with Tick travel insurance, they include COVID cover.

  • We have always used RAC insurance, never a problem.

  • Thankyou everyone I ended up using TID

But will keep these other options next time and travel.
