Best Long Expiry Mobile Plan 2023

My Boost 140GB 365day prepaid plan is coming to an end, the recharge price is $200 (up from $160 when purchased)

Looking at the usual suspects, amaysim seem to be the best. @ $178 for 180gb (365)
I do have a preference for Telstra Network.

Has anyone found anything cheaper?

  • Have seen this post from few days ago. They are on Optus though.
Then there is this, much better pricing but only if you don't use a lot of data.

    • Do a lot of these long expiry plans not offer 5G? The Amaysim one seems to be exclusively 4G and the Coles one doesn't mention 5G at all so I assume it isn't offered.

do you (or could you) spend $100 once a month at Woolies?
I'm seven months in on my second year and so far this "year" it's cost me $7.11.
    First year cost me $26.74
I'm on the lower 100GB/year $150 (currently on regular $140)
they also have a $200 180GB but I don't need the data (already gifted 50GB in my first year)
    .

    • data gifting also useful (I have a second SIM in my LTE backup on home router)

      plus referral credit :)

  • I do have a preference for Telstra Network.

Personally I did go for Woolworths mobile. As mentioned above $150 for 100gb, Telstra network, data gifting, 10% off once a month shop at Woolworths. Hard to beat value.

    • Starter pack is now $140 till end of Jan.

  • just ordered another boost 140GB /365 - $153 via eaby (ebay plus $20 off) - and confirmed through support chat that they will warrant the discount for existing customer

  • Glenningvalley does this also
mean you can keep your existing number

    • yes confirmed through the app you keep your number -
