  Mine bugged out when I set up the chromecast feature, first it wouldn't wake up so hard to manually turn on then it stopped turning on altogether. A reset fixed it all up, and I don't use th chromecast feature no more.

  I paid $185.00 for it on Amazon at the end of last year. Not the best deal right now. It's very decent but it doesn't work very well in the Google Home app.

    does it not work well with youtube music app too? im keen to get it but the casting issues makes me hesitate buying

      So far so good with the youtube music app. I didn't check if the speaker was available to cast when it disappeared from the Home app tho. ATM I can not work out how to add the speaker into a group, very frustrating.

    Nope. I ordered both and learnt the surround is only compatible with the magnifi mini ax.

      Had a look at Polls website and they advertise the SR2 as a companion product though?

        Yep that's why I bought them when they were all on sale last. But if you click through to the SR2 product page it says "Easily add rear surround speakers to your Polk React, Magnifi 2, MagniFi Mini AX and future Polk MagniFi sound bars".

        I believe this product is Magnifi 1 which is not stated on the compatibility list.

  Can you plug this in to a PC/Mac using the USB port and it gets recognised as an audio device/speaker? Or is the USB port only for power supply?

  Looking for a soundbar I can plug in to a Monitor KVM USB port and then the audio will auto route based on the computer the KVM is switched to… any recommendations? Bonus points if it’s a good speaker and has a microphone built-in too for conference calls…
