Dont waste your money on fashion brand watches. They use cheap movements and cheap quality. Buy a watch from watch brands.

Disagree with this take. If you like it and if it makes you feel good, go for it.

The first watch my gf brought for me was a fossil. I still wear it time to time and even though I don’t care what people think, it definitely gets the most compliments compared to my “proper watches”.

This is a bargain website so not sure why you'd disagree with solid advice about wasting money.

As a comparison have a look what you could have bought for less in this expired post from yesterday.
The Bulova Marine Star Chrono is still available for $249 del.

But that Citizen watch is ugly and the HF watch is quite nice

            @mavis30551: It's an example..
This one isn't very nice either and $200 is still a lot for a nothing watch.

If it looks good, works well what's the issue here? It's $209 not $2,009.
Is there any review to state this brand makes watches that break prematurely?

      https://watchranker.com/tommy-hilfiger-watch-reviews/
"In addition to style, their timepieces are reliable, thanks to Movado. When you go for a TH watch, you get reliability and style at an affordable price."

        It's $209 not $2,009.

What's that got to do with anything? There are better value watches / brands at any price point.

        • I do agree with you. I'm not a Tommy watch fan myself. I'm just saying that if it's a relatable watch, it's not much of an outlay at that price point and a decent buy for people who enjoy it.

They have the Movado movements which is good for a fashion brand.

Bit unfair to get so many negs to show this watch isn't we had we people think.

I'd personally rather a Seiko of Citizen at this price.

I agree with you to a point, but at this price nobody is passing the thing on, nobody cares about accuracy, it's all about how the thing looks.

I wore one of those rectangular AX watches for many, many years because I couldn't afford a reverso but liked the form factor shrug

      • Yeah fair enough.
Don't get me wrong, people are free to buy whatever they want, albeit a waste and piece of junk.

Some people like those brands and big logos and free advertising though.

I was recently at the factory where these were made, here is a picture.

    Nico would not approve.

  • I purchased this as a gift for my friend on sale from Catch, and he loved it. The colour combination is very nice.

  • "Water Resistance: 5 Atm"

What I want to know is, does that crown come out? And if so, if you don't screw it back tight it likely will not have any water resistance at all.

I think it's one thing worth mentioning for a $200+ watch (my Garmin is 5 ATM, but it doesn't have a crown so I don't have to worry about it).

    • won't be screw-down crown, just push/pull

      • "just push/pull"

Alright hopefully that's enough to keep the water out.

        • You wouldn't wear a 30-50m dress watch with a leather band in the pool or beach anyway, so wouldn't bother, bit would be fine in the rain etc
