ShopBack Withdrawal Take Long Time to Process

Withdraw my cashback on Saturday 14 Jan from both Cashrewards and ShopBack to Paypal.

Cashrewards withdrawal was processed and arrived to my Paypal on Monday 16 Jan (next business day).
ShopBack withdrawal on the other hand is still processing until now.

In this day and age, shouldn't this kind of thing be automated?

  • I received an email from shopback notifying my cashback was expiring I hadn't been active. Thankfully I was still able to cash out the couple of hundred dollars. I was just surprised cashback just expires.

    • I didn't know cashback can expire too. Thanks for the heads up

    • That news to me also. Would like to check this with @gotyourback .

  • Must be something specific to you as I requested a withdrawal for both shopback and Cashrewards on Mon night (16th) and actually ShopBack hit my account first on Wed 18th, then Cashrewards came through later that day.

  • Hey mate, withdrawals are processed manually by our team so we can make sure they're as secure as they can be. Typically these withdrawals will only take a couple of days, but depending on the amount of withdrawals requested may take a couple more. This is also subject to the processing time at your bank after it's completed on our end, which can also add a bit to it as well. If you're ever getting concerned though, feel free to reach out via DM, I'm happy to help check in on it for you.

    • Thanks mate, I'll give it until monday. If it hasn't hit my paypal yet, I'll DM you

I had a few hundred with SB and cashed out the moment the Deliveroo gift card debacle blew up due to concerns over potential blowback to SB's liquidity. Now I never keep more than $20 balance with them as a precaution.

I notice max withdrawal is only $300 per day..
So I have to stagger my withdrawal as well

      • Thanks for this info. I never had the balance over $65 or so. I usually withdraw fund around $20 - $50.
