$5.40 a litre, $1.30 can if using S&S. Much better option if you tend to pick one up daily at the servo or the supermarket.

Price matching Woolies half price deal this week so safe to assume this ends Tuesday night/Wednesday.

  • +4

Woolies is $5.60 per 4 pack of any flavour, whereas this deal is Original and Zero, which works out to be $33.60 for 24. S&S is still marginally cheaper, but Woolies gives more flexibility.

Can you explain the additional drinks part - is Woolies offering more?

      • Different flavours and no sugar and zero

          thank you

First delivery on 28th of February? Gee what happened to Amazon delivery times….

    • Must be your location. Mine is saying free delivery by Tomorrow

      • Ah fair enough, must be WA only then…. Still a month wait is quite a long time. IIRC they use to express everything so I guess they changed that.

        • If it’s via prime they still do but I can’t see then paying air freight for cans of redbull under the prime program, it would cost a fortune especially in bulk. would a couple weeks in transit via truck at least.

        • I'm sure if there was stock in the Perth warehouse you'd be on for a normal timeframe. Quite hit and miss with varying stock levels at each city's warehouse

    • I had the same wait time in Perth, but redbull zero had next day delivery.

I took the hit and had to go for that as i ain’t waiting a month.

12 for 15 dollars at Abcoe penrith

  • anyone know or able to explain taste difference between redbull zero and redbull sugar free? Redbull website and googling in general says theyre basically the same ingredients but using different sweeteners… anyone privy to knowing which tastes closer to normal, and how far off it really is?

    • +1

From a combination of personal experience and googling, Zero has 3 artificial sweeteners vs 2 in SF, Zero has a somewhat syrupy consistency compared to every other Red Bull. To my tastebuds, Zero is closer to the Original flavour, but ends up tasting almost like 'flat' sparkling water. (nothing to do with carbonation) I believe that the SF and Zero comparison is the same as Coke Zero vs Diet. (Diet is meant to be a different 'healthier' flavour, whereas Zero is the original but no sugar.)

  • Seems like OOS already?

Shows as in stock for me. Both normal and sugar free.

  • does anyone get a buzz from drinking this stuff.. i've tried it but don't understand the hype

    • +1

It's the combination of absurd amounts of sugar and marketing.

      • Try two

  • +1

Stop drinking coffee and Red Bull. Just thought I let you guys know. To be honest can't say I feel Any different but I was drinking two Redbull cans 260ml per day 7 days a week and drinking a coffee per day

      Username checks out

    • +1

Are you telling me what to do or telling me what you did?

    • 250ml* but yeah if you were having ~200mg of caffeine a day 7 days a week I wonder why it wasn't doing anything. You needed a bigger hit.

People forget caffeine is a drug and you develop tolerances to drugs. The only way to wear down these tolerances are from abstaining.

    • if you really want to get a buzz going to motivate, you need to microdose methamphetamines or cocaine, mild stimulants like caffeine and sugar, red bull etc won't do anything but make you put on weight and kickstart diabetes

  • +1

@nicholasv wasn't it around $25 a few weeks ago? sigh

    • +2

Gotta be less than $1 a can for me to get on board

Imagine intentionally making yourself reliant on absurd amounts of caffeine and other crap just to do anything, and then your (profanity) without it. Sounds like a trap me no?

    • uno me yes

    • +2

Sound like you could use a coffee, mate.

    • Truth spoken. I don't understand why anyone would drink this crap, let alone an ozbargainer.

    • +2

"Reliant on absurd amounts" lol. It has 80mg. That's 1 8oz (small) cup of instant coffee (Barista made has more), 1.5-2 cups of black tea or 600ml soft drink (like Sprite+, Mountain Dew etc)

The other crap is sugar and amino acids.

      your (profanity) without it.

You're*. Sounds like you need a coffee to me :)

      • Lmao this what they call "cope"

        • No this is what you call "I wasn't expecting someone to call me out on my bullshit with actual facts and now I have nothing to say" lol

          Lmao this what they

          Is*
Sure you don't want that coffee?

  • I think it is $37 from Costco when I bought it a while ago.

  • Does it stay this price if you subscribe?

Just a comment on personal experience - I used to drink Red Bull up until recently, anywhere between 1-3 daily to the point where my body had full tolerance of it i.e. no headaches on withdrawl, after 2 (or 3) felt functional/indifferent physically wise except for the sugar come down in the afternoon. Mentally more anxious. Took a Apple Watch heart monitor check and the resting hard rate when sitting was +100(!).

Since then have quit (or substituted a quarter cup of Coke Zero) and now resting heart rate is 70-80bpm and aim to get it lower. Quitting was relatively easy and overnight, with no headaches though for the first four or five days felt lethargic and I did have substitutes such as occasional Coke Zero or Milo which in themselves can be just as unhealthy. After a month I feel normal and it has not affected exercise sessions (I used to have RedBull sometimes as a pickup prior or before work in the morning). Mentally thinking clearer than ever.

Besides the expense, I just wanted to mention this for other OzBargain (or people you know) health from a personal experience.

    Stay frosty.
