  • I've had my 32" Soniq for 2 years now, hasn't skipped a beat, good deal for this one IMO :)

    • I have two, 2 and 3 years old, they work fine, I would buy them again. Definitely would never fork out cash for a popular name brand.

  • Wow this is a really good price! If only it was 46" id be all over this deal. Is it 100hz by chance?

  • Dbl post soz..

  • no TV from what I read here is only 50Hz and tuner is sd not hd. http://www.jbhifi.com.au/tv-lcd-led-plasma/soniq/40-fhd-smar….

    • That is a problem.SD tuner is very old school, surely that can't be correct.
For $87.00 more you can get a Sony. Not led/smart though.

Just spoke to Soniq Tech Centre and they confirmed this in Full HD with HD tuner. Would not make sense to have SD tuner in a Full HD TV !

    • A good alternative but the TCL is not a Smart TV (no web browser) and delivery varies from $25 to $80 depending on your location. JB has $27 flat rate shipping to anywhere. The Soniq looks nicer too, if that is important to you.

    • And it's not LED so no comparison.

      • LED is just the back lighting. All LED tv's are still LCD.The main difference is power usage.
The cheaper LED's are usually only edge lit and get complaints about patchy brightness.
So if you are looking to go cheap then plain old LCD should still be a consideration.

  • Anyone got any idea of the tv inputs/outputs and the USB file formats it can play? The Soniq website still has no details about the model.
