Unknown brand… compared to Romoss that has a lot of Ozbargain user reviews

  • I’ve taken this thing on carry on internationally and domestic no problem. No consent either. I haven’t done this but for the cautious you can always scuff mah level from the bottom.

10000mah were bricks years ago. Just lie.

  • Bummer, only bought this last week at $45 with Amazons.

Re taking this on the flight, strange that the description on amazon has "Safe Airplane Travels. Safe travel, in line with boarding standards, can be taken directly to the plane". Any takers?

  • Bit the bullet and got another 🤣

Spent a bit more then the previous $32.99

    Over 100 Wh

If your power bank is between 100Wh and 160Wh you may still take it with you, but it will need to be cleared by the airline.

    • Virgin will approve 2 spare battery packs, 101-160Wh, when declared at check-in.
    • Qantas and Jestar will approve these batteries but require prior-approval via an email to <[email protected]> and declaration at check-in - be prepared because they take a week to respond!
    • Rex will approve 2 spare battery packs, 101-160Wh, when declared at check-in.

  • I took the 2019-2020 model overseas to the US a couple of years ago, had no idea it was over 100wh.

Price shows as $53.99 now. Thread was a damned good read though. Thanks all :)

    • and here's the thing - we can now admit that jv isn't a real person and has actually been an early beta version of chatGPT all these years. There's been a bit of a bug with unnecessary bolding of certain words, but apart from that the scientists are pleased with their work !
